AQA stop Wireless
with AQA Guard floor sensor
AQA stop Wireless with AQA Guard floor sensor
1
Intended use
For opening and closing a water-carrying line in buildings manually or
through remote control after an event is reported by the floor sensor(s).
AQA stop Wireless comprises a shut-off valve and control unit with a
power supply and EnOcean® wireless module.
The shut-off valve comprises a ball valve that is certified for use with
drinking water and includes an electric motor that is integrated into the
water-carrying line.
Four designs with suitable connections are available for a variety of line
diameters: G ¾", G 1", G 1¼" and G 1½" connection thread.
The shut-off valve for the water-carrying line can be opened and closed
in three different ways:
By mechanically opening and closing the shut-off valve using the
control lever
By electrically opening and closing the shut-off valve using buttons
on the control unit
By closing the shut-off valves via the floor sensors
The control unit is in constant contact with the programmed floor
sensors. An event message is triggered if a leakage is detected by
the floor sensors (for example, due to leaking household devices
or a burst pipe in a water line). The water line is then closed by the
AQA stop Wireless to prevent any more water from escaping.
2
Function
If the floor sensor comes into contact with water, the AQA stop Wireless
cuts off the water supply after about 6 minutes. This minimizes water
damage that can occur due to pipe bursts and pipe cracks.
