Troubleshooting and further Notes
 OH or OL is displayed when the temperature being measured is
outside the range of the instrument (OL: colder than -40 °C resp.
OH: hotter than +580 °C). Only select targets which are within the
specifications. If a malfunction still exists, please contact our cus-
tomer support.
 Observe the measuring distance/radius ratio in case the measur-
ing results are not comprehensible. Hold the thermometer closer
to the object to be measured.
 A big difference between the emissivity of the object to be
measured and the preset emissivity of the thermometer (0.95)
can lead to imprecise measurements.
 The thermometer should be allowed several minutes to stabilize
to the working temperature when it has been exposed to rapid
changes in the ambient temperature.
 Do not expose the thermometer to strong magnetic fields or static
charges. This will affect the performance of the thermometer.
 Make sure that there are no objects such as glasses, plastics,
vapour, dust, etc are in the space between the thermometer and
the object to be measured.
