Troubleshooting and further Notes
OH or OL is displayed when the temperature being measured is
outside the range of the instrument (OL: colder than -40 °C resp.
OH: hotter than +580 °C). Only select targets which are within the
specifications. If a malfunction still exists, please contact our cus-
tomer support.
Observe the measuring distance/radius ratio in case the measur-
ing results are not comprehensible. Hold the thermometer closer
to the object to be measured.
A big difference between the emissivity of the object to be
measured and the preset emissivity of the thermometer (0.95)
can lead to imprecise measurements.
The thermometer should be allowed several minutes to stabilize
to the working temperature when it has been exposed to rapid
changes in the ambient temperature.
Do not expose the thermometer to strong magnetic fields or static
charges. This will affect the performance of the thermometer.
Make sure that there are no objects such as glasses, plastics,
vapour, dust, etc are in the space between the thermometer and
the object to be measured.
Cleaning and Storing
