Coil Behavior
Note : The specialized material used to enable the Xtreme
Temperature (XT) cable performance will affect the
recoil behavior of the cable when compared to the
recoil behavior of standard cable. The following
behaviors are considered normal for the XT cable
and will occur during and after the warranty period.
• The XT cable coils will take longer to return to their
original size after normal stretched use (hours or
days).
• The XT cable will increase in overall cable length
up to double the original length after exposure to
rapidly fluctuating Hot and Cold Temperatures.
• The XT cable will not return to its original length if
excessively stretched after exposure to rapid
fluctuations between Hot and Cold Temperatures.
These behaviors do not affect the electrical
performance of the cable.
