Activities carried out at heights (either sports
or industrial) involve serious risks and danger
for the head. Injuries cannot be ruled out
completely. In order to guarantee the highest
level of safety during such activities, it is
necessary to use equipment in compliance with
the current regulations and to use it properly.
The following instructions for use are important
in order to ensure correct use. However, they
cannot replace experience, personal liability and
awareness of individual users concerning the
risks related to construction; manufacturing;
oil, gas and wind utilities; telecommunication;
lineworker and electrical (low voltage); forestry;
rescue; mountaineering, such instructions do not

This helmet is
this helmet for when riding motorcycles,
firefighting activities or tactical/ballistic
operations. Use the ZERTEC helmet only
for industrial activities such as work at
height and for head impact protection from
mechanical devices.
Adjustment
In order to assure a safe protection, this
helmet must be adjusted to fit the user's head
dimensions. The helmet must be adjusted to fit
the head properly so that it does not rock side to
side or move when the chin strap is locked and the
slider is in the correct position based on the head
perimeter. The helmet will only offer the highest
level of protection if this adjustment is done
correctly. A perfect and safe adjustment on the
head is guaranteed only if the chin strap is locked
and tightened and with a correct adjustment to
the cranial perimeter. The straps must not cover
the ears and the buckle must not touch the chin.
The locked chin strap must not exert pressure on
the larynx. The helmet must be adjusted on the
head always in a horizontal position so that it
protects the forehead as well.
