A safe means of access to the anchorage point should be provided.
The product shall be used only by a person trained and competent in its safe use. There must be ensured
that medical conditions of the user do not affect his safety during normal use of the equipment or in case of
emergency. In case of doubt, consult the doctor.
The product shall be used only in limitations given by this instruction. The user is obliged to familiarize with
this instruction.
Any repairing or modification of the product is strictly prohibited.
The product shall be used only with Personal Protective Equipments which were certified according to
European Directive EC 89/686 and its harmonized standards.
The product shall not be exposed during its use and storage to direct contact with flame or hot objects, with
solvents, strong acids and bases.
Do not use this product if
any doubt arise about its condition for safe use;

it have been used to arrest a fall;

any problem have occurred during checking before use (see part concerning checking of the

product).
Maintenance, servicing and storage
Cleaning: rinse in clean lukewarm water (max 40 ºC). Leave it to dry away from direct sources of light and
heat.
Lubrication: This operation must be done after cleaning and drying completely. Lubricate moving parts
frequently with a silicone based lubricant. Avoid spilling oil onto the fabric parts.
Storage: store the equipment in a cool, dry, dark place, chemically neutral, away from sharp corners, sources
of heat, humidity, corrosive substances or other damaging conditions. Do not store wet.
During transport the product should be placed in transport carton, eliminating influence of outside agents
like water and dust.
Lifetime
It is difficult to define lifetime for this product. It depends on the intensity and frequency of use, on the
environment where the product is used. Such factors as general wear, corrosion, chemical contamination,
mechanical deformation, high impact load, or failure to maintain as recommended will reduce the safe
working life.
Checking of the product
The product has to be checked at least once a year by qualified personnel (e.g. manufacturer). Filled in
following equipment record shall be kept with these instructions:
