To Install the Hinge Cup

1. Drill a 1

" (35mm) diameter hole,

(2.5mm) from edge of door, approximately 2
the top and bottom.
2. Mount hinge to cabinet door, ensuring that hinge arm
is perpendicular to edge of door.

To Hang the Door
3. Mark hole in center of face frame where center of slot

in baseplate will be.
4. Drill pilot hole

5. Fasten hinge arm and door to face frame with #10 x
round-head screw.
Making Adjustments
Note: For best results, use a Phillips screwdriver for all adjustments.
Height Adjustment
To adjust the height of door, loosen screw #1 one turn on
all hinges on door. Raise or lower door to desired position.
Retighten all height-adjustment screws.
Additional Height Adjustment
Loosen screw #3 on all hinges in face frame and adjust
door to desired position. Retighten screws.
Side Adjustment
To adjust the horizontal alignment of the cabinet door,
loosen screw #1 half a turn. Then turn screw #2 until door
is in proper position. You have up to
direction. Retighten #1 screws on all hinges.
Note: Side adjustment can be used to increase or decrease door coverage
by ±

Helpful Hints
Do:
Keep hinges as close to top and bottom of
l
cabinet door as possible.
Make sure the hinge arm is mounted 90º to
l
the door.
Check to see that doors do not bind when
l
opening.
Avoid doors which are wider than they are tall.
l
Do a trial mounting to ensure accuracy.
l
Dont:
Dont exceed maximum cup drilling distance;
l
door will bind on face frame.
Dont overuse the adjustments.
l
Dont overload the door with accessory
l
attachments such as mirrors and racks.
Dont over-tighten the wood screws.
