Intended use
The product is used for freehand calls using a conventional telephone. It is possible to switch
between headset operation and telephone handset operation. Apart from the supply voltage
provided by the telephone, no separate supply voltage is required or permitted.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g.
in bathrooms) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or fire. Read the instructions carefully
and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties together with
its operating instructions.

a) General information
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a

Product overview
Connection and start-up procedure
The device is, as shown on the figure, connected between your telephone and your telephone
handset.
• Unplug your telephone's handset cable from your telephone. Follow the operating instructions
• Now plug one of the ends on the enclosed, approx. 60 cm long cable into your telephone's
• Connect the other plug on the cable to the socket labelled TEL (1) on the switch box (A).
• Connect the plug on the free end of your telephone handset cable with the telephone handset
• Then plug the headset plug (B) into the headset connection socket (3) on the switch box.
• For setting up and using the telephone headset, follow the instructions in the "Description
Adjusting the handset's pin assignment
• If necessary, open the cover (6) of the switch box (A) by sliding the semicircular cover
• You can now find the positions with the optimal voice quality by adjusting the two switches.

Description of operation

Warning: It is possible that the sound quality will be inferior or that neither the
telephone handset nor the headset work despite being connected correctly. This
is because the handset cable pin assignment is different in telephones made by
different manufacturers. Your headset with switch box has 2 integrated slide
switches that enable optimal adaptation to the different pin assignments.

First adjust the top switch only and test it after each adjustment. If needed, try again when
