Adding a safety camera.
Note: You can add a custom safety camera only when a GPS fix is established.
Your dashcam allows you to add up to 110 custom safety cameras to the safety
camera database.
To configure a custom safety camera:
1. Press
on the recording screen to add a safety camera in your current location.
Your dashcam will now alert you every time you pass by the location.
2. To view the information of the added safety camera, select
Custom SafetyCam > select the safety camera that you want to check.
3. Press
to remove the custom safety camera from the recorder.
Updating safety camera data.
Magellan does not warrant that all types and locations of safety camera data are
available, as cameras may be removed, relocated, or new cameras installed.
Occasionally, Magellan GPS may offer you safety camera data updates. Visit

for downloads.
