Connect wire to vehicle
INSTALLATION AND PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS INSTALLATION AND PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS
Connecteur 1 (Noir):
Enroulez les fils du connecteur noir autour
de barillet d'ignition 3 à 4 tours pour un
fonctionnement optimal.
Connector 2 (White):
Connect the red wire to 12V constant.
Connect the black wire to "Ground out when
running".
Hook up the SCAN TOOL
Follow instructions on SCAN TOOL
display for keys programming
procedure (teaching procedure).
Place the PATS KIA 2 transponder
(show on Pats label) close and
toward the front of the ignition barrel
for the next 2 steps.
With the help of a jumper wire,
power up vehicle ignition.
Follow instructions on SCAN TOOL.

IMPORTANT : The PATS KIA 2 can only be
programmed once.
Once the PATS is programmed, it can't be
programmed or used on any other vehicle.

Remove jumper wire
Remove PATS-KIA 2 module.
ALL
Make shure all other keys still
working.
Connect PATS KIA 2 module
start vehicle with remote starter.
The module PATS KIA 2 is now
programmed.
You must have all keys
available. (3 keys)
You will need the KIA
SCAN TOOL and
associated cartridge
for keys programming.
