NOTE: If your pool has two suction lines, then one suction line should be covered before using the cleaner.(Fig. 3)
Pressure Regulator Adjustment
The pressure regulator is made up of parts B1 thru B4 shown (Fig. 4).
The pressure regulator can be adjusted as follows:

Hose Weight Application
WARNING! Never put the hose weight on the short white hose (D). It will damage the hose.
For pools over 1m (3.3ft.) in depth, the hose weight should be applied. Ideally, the bottom surface
of the cleaner should rest flat on the pool bottom. First, assemble the hose weight on the first long
white hose (E) from the cleaner, and move the hose weight close to next short white hose (D). If
the cleaner leans forward, move the hose weight along the long white hose towards the cleaner. If
the cleaner leans backward, move the hose weight to the next long white hose.
HOW TO OPERATE YOUR AUTOMATIC POOL CLEANER
CAUTION! REMOVE THE LADDER FROM THE POOL BEFORE STARTING.
Once your Automatic Pool Cleaner is connected to the pool, turn on your pump. The Automatic Pool Cleaner starts to clean the bottom of your pool. It will operate automatically until the filter basket
is full. The filter basket has a removable mess bag designed to filter the sand and small particles from the bottom of the pool.
IMPORTANT! Make sure the mesh bag is in place during cleaner operation.
Empty this mesh bag regularly to ensure maximum suction. If your pool has many leaves or large debris on the bottom, they must be removed using a leaf skimmer (not included). This will prevent the
basket from becoming full too quickly and allow the smaller particles to be collected.
To clean the filter basket and mesh bag, switch off the filtration, press the latch and push it
down to release the base plate from the cleaner. Remove the filter basket and take out the
mesh bag. Remove the debris and rinse the mesh bag. Replace the mesh bag if damage is
found.

Reverse the steps to put back the whole pre-filter until into the cleaner.
Make sure the flapper is in place and properly sits inside the cavity (Fig. 5).

Check if any air bubbles come from the pool return line and appear in the pump. Check pump manual how to remove the air.
Check if any air bubbles come from the connections and fittings. Tighten the connections and fittings again. Make sure all assemblies are done
properly.
Check if swivel is placed in wrong position. Position it according to the instruction. Per instructions, swivel should be positioned underwater,
otherwise air may leak through the hose and to the pump through the swivel.
Check if power of pump is too weak. Verify that the power of your pump is no less than 86W, and minimum system flow is 3.8 m
Check if water flow going through the cleaner is insufficient.
Verify that your filtration is reducing the water flow significantly and therefore affecting cleaner suction. If using filtration with multi-port valve, turn the
valve to "Circulation" position to bypass the filter. Otherwise, refer to your filtration manual on how to direct the water return to the pool directly.
When doing this, make sure the filter basket and mesh bag are in place inside the Automatic Pool Cleaner.
If using a solar heater, this may reduce the significantly and affect cleaner suction. In this case, use a bypass valve and turn the bypass valve for the
water to flow directly into the pool, skipping the solar panel.
Check if the pre-filter mesh bag is full and clean out the debris.
Check if the flapper is clogged with debris. Release the pre-filter and clean out the debris.
Check if the pressure regulator is over releasing the water flow. Adjust the regulator per instruction.
Check if the cleaner sticks to the pool bottom. Verify if 1,500 gal/h (5.7m
Regulator Adjustment" to release the water pressure and then the suction.
Check if the flapper is broken. If this is the case, please replace it with a new flapper.
Make sure the total hose length is enough per instruction in the manual.
Make sure the hoses are not tangled or coiled. Lay the hoses under sunlight to straighten them.
Change the position of one SuperFlex hose (D) but never replace position of hose (A) and (C), or this will change the cleaning pattern of the
cleaner. SuperFlex hose (D) controls the turning angle of the cleaner, helping to cover the pool surface more thoroughly. You can also rotate or twist
some sections of hoses because hoses will bend over time with creates routing pattern.

NOTE: Different brands of pumps of the same horsepower may vary in performance.
You may need to adjust the regulator to the next higher setting if the cleaner sticks to the pool
floor and does not move due to too strong suction.
