Effect of the paraffin bath
A paraffin bath helps to soften and take care of the skin. It softens
the cuticles and dry skin. The heat stimulates the blood circulation,
reduces pain and muscle tension. Especially those with chilblainded
hands, feet or winter rheumatic diseases can greatly benefit from a
regular paraffin bath.
Precautions
• Read the manual carefully before using the paraffin bath.
• Use the machine in a dry, ventilated space with a temprature between 0 and
40 degrees Celcius with an average humidity varying between 20 to 80%
(no condensation). Never use the machine in a wet or humid place. Moisture
can cause short circuiting, fire or rust. It also can make the isolation weak.
• Please make sure cord and plug are not damaged to prevent current
leakage, shocks or fire. Always check the cords and cables before starting
the machine.
• Use the machine in a clean, tidy place to avoid tripping over cords.
• Keep the machine out of reach of children.
• Turn the machine off during absence.
• Never make any changes to the machine that could affect the original
functionality or safety.
Contra indications
Never use the paraffin bath in the following circumstances:
• Never use on persons who have wounds or infections;
• Never use on children younger than 12 years.
• Never use on patients with diabetes (sensitive skin)
Warning: some people are very sensitive to heat. For those the warm
paraffin can feel unpleasant. Burning is impossible because of the
automatically thermostat.
Instructions for use
1. Put 2 kilos paraffin into the container. Place the protective
screen over de paraffin and close the lid. Never add water to
make the paraffin melt faster.
2. Plug into 220V Electricity. Turn the switch to 'I'. When the
indicator light is glowing it means the heater is working. When
the right temperature is received the 'Normal' led will glow. The
paraffin melts in four to five hours. If you want to melt faster
turn the switch to high.

3. Control the temperature using 'Up' and 'Down' at your wishes.
The lowest temperature is 50 degrees Celsius and the highest
60 degrees Celsius.
4. Wash your hands and dry with a towel. Spread your fingers and
put them in the melted paraffin for one or 2 seconds. Take your
hand out, let the paraffin drain en repeat for 4 seconds. Repeat
this 4 to 5 times so you'll end up with warm smooth paraffin.
5. Put your hand in large plastic gloves and than in cotton gloves
to keep it warm.
6. Remove the paraffin after ten minutes.
7. Use the same method for feet. Preferably use a separate bath
for feet.
8. You can use this method for other body parts such as the
elbows. The hot paraffin can also be applied with a brush.
9. Rub your hands with hand cream or mask before you dip the
hand in the paraffin for the first time. Because of the insulating
effect the ingredients will penetrate deeper into the skin.
Tip
Remove spilled paraffine from clothing or towels by covering it with
a paper towel while ironing with a medium/hot iron. The paper
will then absorb the paraffin.
Maintenance
• Used paraffin should be disposed after use because for hygienic
reasons.
• Remove dust or dirt with a brush or soft cloth after use. After
that use a moist towel. Dry off with a duster.
• Close the paraffin bath after use.
Warranty
Magnetic offers a two year warranty on the electric equipment.
During this time Magnetic repairs or replaces the product for free,
if you can show the proof of purchase and the warranty certificate.

Limited warranty
Warranty covers manufacturer defects only and only if the
instructions for use were followed. The Paraffin Bath is designed
for professional use in beauty salons and can also be used by
professional nail technicians, beauty and podo specialists only.
Magnetic takes no responsibility if the machine is operated by
unskilled persons.
The following conditions void warranty after:
• Servicing or dissembling the machine by any other person than
employees of the Magnetic Nail Academy;
• When other products than paraffin are heated.
• When the paraffin bath has been connected to a wrong voltage.
• Immersing the Paraffin Bath in any type of sterilizing or
cleaning solution;
• Returned goods which were damaged by insufficient packing,
are the responsibility of the sender.
• This warranty does not affect your legal rights.
