OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: When assembling, disassembling or cleaning the appliance, always first make
sure that it is not connected to the power mains.
Before using the appliance for the first time, wash all removable parts that will come into
contact with food, in water and a normal dish soap.
- Place the motor base (F) on a flat, steady surface. Make sure that the surface is easy to clean.
- Place the pulp collector (H) over the special tab in the back of the motor base (F) (Fig. 2).
- Fit the filter holder (C) on the base (F). Make sure that the spout (D) is fitted to the recess (Fig. 3).
- Fit the stainless filter (B) inside the filter holder (C), pressing it gently downwards until it can be
heard to click into place (Fig. 4).
- Position the lid (I) so that the side tabs are perfectly inserted into the slots on the motor base (F)
(Fig. 5) and make sure that it also perfectly covers the pulp collector (H) pressing it down gently.
- Lift the locking bar (E) upwards and secure it in place over the lid (I) by pressing it until it snaps
into place in the clips on the left and right of the lid (Fig. 6).
- Place the previously prepared food into the special food chute (L) and place a container under
the spout with drip-proof opening (D). During operation, the spout needs to be kept down to allow
the liquid to come out. When juicing has finished, the spout can be raised to prevent any residual
liquid from coming out (Fig. 7).
- Place the pusher (A) into its housing (L) (Fig. 8).
- Plug the appliance into the wall outlet.
- Set the on/off dial (G) to «1». The motor will start up. For a higher speed, turn the on/off dial (G) to «2».
- Slide the pusher (A) into its housing (L) and press it down it gently towards the filter (B).
- After treating the first batch of food, repeat the above steps for more juice or remove the con-
tainer.
- If the appliance is to continue to operate perfectly, the pulp collector (H) must never be allowed to
become too full. Empty the collector when necessary:
- switch off the appliance by moving the on/off dial (G) to «0» and unplug it from the mains elec-
tricity.
- Remove the lid (I) and carefully take out the pulp collector (H).
- Empty the pulp collector (H) and then refit it correctly in position, as described previously (Fig. 2).
NOTE: To make it easier to clean the pulp collector (H), place a plastic bag inside it. This will also
help to prevent the pulp from splashing over the edges of the container.
- After use, disassemble the appliance before cleaning.
- Switch off and unplug the appliance. Turn the locking bar (E) downwards and remove all of the
parts, following the steps for appliance assembly in reverse order.
WARNING:
The filter (B) has small, very sharp blades to chop up the food. Be very careful when putting
in the filter. Risk of injury!
Before each use, make sure that the appliance and all its parts have been correctly assem-
bled; otherwise the appliance will not start.
