Wood Stove Blower Information
This blower is a reciprocating type blower. It is designed to direct heated air radiating from the rear of the stove to the
front at a low velocity. DO NOT expect a large volume of air to be felt when standing in front of the stove.
The blower is NOT thermostatically controlled. The blower speed is manually controlled by rotating the speed control
knob until the desired speed is achieved. When turned on, the first setting will be "LOW". "HIGH" setting may be
obtained by rotating the speed control knob clockwise.
Operating Voltage is 110 to 120 VAC at 60 Cycle.
IMPORTANT :
stove, turn the blower off for approximately
30 minutes. The stove will require time to
reach the required temperature for proper
combustion.
IMPORTANT :
gasket are oriented correctly. The blower
wheel and gasket cut-ot must align with the
cut-out in the rear heat shield. Fasten the
blower and gasket to the rear heat shield
using the four (4) screws provided.
DO NOT over tighten screws. Be sure to
plug the blower into a 3 prong gounded
outlet. DO NOT tamper with the grounding
prong on the cord.
WARNING!
DO NOT submerge the blower into any
liquids. This will create an electric shock
hazard. Unplug the blower before clean-
ing or performing any maintenance.
CAUTION: Extreme caution is
necessary when any fan is used by or
near children or invalids and whenever
the fan is left operating unattended.

For installation with
Pleasant Hearth Wood Stove
Installation
The blower is to be installed at the rear of the stove,
on the rear heat shield. Align the blower and gasket
mounting holes with those on the rear heat shield.

Cleaning
Periodic cleaning of the blower is recommended. Dust
or dirt accumulation could significantly restrict airflow.
Restriction in airflow will reduce the efficiency of the
blower and possibly damage the motor.
