Heated Ceramic Plates
Styling Brush Tines
TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
The styling temperature will depend on your hair's texture and condition.
Generally, for fine, bleached or hair in poor condition, use low setting (1).
For normal hair, use high setting (2). Once your brush reaches the temperature
you select, it maintains it all through styling.
CAUTION: Extreme care should be used when using this appliance on
damaged, relaxed or color treated hair.
TO USE YOUR ANDIS HEATED BRUSH
1. Shampoo, rinse, condition and towel dry hair.
2. Blow dry hair until completely dry.
3. Part hair into sections. Sections should equal one-half the length of the brush
and one-half the depth of the brush.
4. Rest brush on its back on a smooth, flat surface. To pre-heat your Andis brush,
plug into an electrical outlet. (Please refer to the Operating Instructions
section of this manual for more detail).
5. Slide the power button from the OFF (0) position to your desired temperature.
• When selecting the LOW setting (1), the RED power indicator light will flash
as the brush heats up. When the brush reaches the selected temperature,
the power indicator light will stop flashing and remain RED.
• When selecting the HIGH setting (2), the BLUE power indicator light will
flash as the brush heats up. When the brush reaches the selected
temperature, the power indicator light will stop flashing and remain BLUE.
6. Grasp a section of hair and hold away from the scalp. Insert the heated brush
into the hair section close to the scalp. The front of the brush features the
heated plates to style hair, so hold the section of hair firmly against the front
of the brush.
