Ergonomic stage K (Reference 574 242)
The use of the bases is difficult when the
magnifying power is high, therefore you
can upgrade your microscope
incorporating the ergonomic
Practical and precise, it guarantees easy
use by pupils. The stage is delivered with
the necessary fixtures and a detailed
manual.
Unscrew the four retaining screws of the
standard stage, remove the wires and
place the ergonomic stage without spacers (see manual delivered with ref. 574
242).
4.7 Condenser, diaphragm, filter holder and
polarisation
Depending on the IRIO model of the microscope, you are either provided with
a rectangular stage equipped with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder M (Ref.
571 210 and 571 211), or an iris diaphragm, a filter holder and an Abbe's
condenser L (Ref. 571 212).
- Iris diaphragm continuously adjustable.
- Filter holder: it allows for the positioning of the polarizer (provided) when thin
sections are studied in polarised light. A blue filter can also be placed in the
filter holder but the integral lighting O of the IRIO microscopes does not
require this.
- Abbe's condenser, numerical aperture 1,25 (only for the reference 571 212),
incorporated and adjustable, height can be set by means of a handle (helical
movement).
Polarisation kit: consists of a polarizer that must be placed in the filter holder
and an analyser that must be clipped on top of the eyepiece (push on the
small red pearl).

Lighting
With mirror
Depending on the IRIO model of the
microscope, you are either provided with
lighting by a mirror (microscope Ref. 571
210), or with lighting with incorporated leds
(microscopes Refs. 571 211 and 571 212).
To use the mirror, the ideal position of the
add-on lamp is sideways, therefore do not
place your hand between the lamp and the
mirror (see picture opposite).
