Canadian Plumbing Code's regulations and your local
municipality plumbing codes before installation. The Canadian
Plumbing Code requires the installation of surge arresting devices to eliminate water
hammering. ALLOW AN ADEQUATE OPENING IN ORDER TO EASILY ACCESS
CONNECTIONS OR OTHER PLUMBING DEVICES FOR MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR.

NOTE:
This mixer has been set at the factory
at a maximum of 49°C with a tempera-
ture stop at 38°C. The water temperature
may vary slightly from the pre-set
temperature due to water temperature
variation (cold/hot). The temperature of
the mixer should be calibrated during
installation for optimal comfort.
To calibrate:
1. Turn the handle to the 38°C stop position.
2. Remove the thermostatic handle [cap
(A), handle screw (B), handle (C)] without
removing the stop ring (D).
3. Turn water on and measure its tem-
perature using a thermometer. Turn the
spindle slightly until you reach 38°C.
4. Place the temperature handle back on
the spindle aligning the button with the
"38°C" marking on the valve.

To maintain the appearance of this product,
ensure it is cleaned using a clean soft
damp cloth. A solution of warm water and
mild liquid detergent may be used where
necessary and then rinsed thoroughly.
Abrasive cleaners or acidic cleaners MUST
NOT BE USED under any circumstances.
Avoid contact with solvents. Please retain
these instructions for future reference.
Pour préserver l'apparence de ce produit,
toujours le nettoyer à l'aide d'un linge
doux, humide et propre. Utiliser une solu-
tion d'eau savonneuse tiède au besoin
et rincer abondamment. Les nettoyants
abrasifs ou acides NE DOIVENT EN AUCUN
CAS ÊTRE EMPLOYÉS. Éviter tout contact
avec les solvants. Veuillez conserver ces
instructions pour référence ultérieure.

REMARQUE :
Ce mélangeur a été réglé en usine à une
température maximale de 49°C avec une
position d'arrêt à 38°C. La température
de l'eau mélangée peut dévier quelque
peu de la température préréglée due
à une variation de la température de
l'eau (froide/chaude).La température du
mélangeur devrait être calibrée lors de
l'installation pour un confort optimal.
Pour calibrer :
1. Tourner la poignée jusqu'à la position
d'arrêt de 38°C.
2. Retirer la poignée thermostatique
[capuchon (A), vis (B), poignée (C)] sans
enlever la bague d'arrêt (D).
3. Ouvrir l'eau et prendre sa température à
l'aide d'un thermomètre. Tourner l'arbre
de la cartouche délicatement jusqu'à
l'obtention de 38°C.
4. Replacer la poignée sur la cartouche en
alignant le bouton avec l'inscription
« 38 °C » présent sur la valve.
