transmitters are an integral part of the
0
TRI
SYS radio system. The radio signal is
2
transmitted at 868.3 MHz, the European
standard frequency. It is particularly suitable
for
unrecessed
wall-mounted
installations, for example: in cellars, garages
or outside controllers. Just press the switch
to remotely control a variety of equipment via
the receivers. Before use, the switch must
be paired with a receiver (see the receiver
documentation for programming). Each switch can control an unlimited number
of receivers.
Note:
- It does not require a battery or any maintenance!
- Read the user instructions carefully before activating.

A legitimate fault exists if the device is unusable at the time of
delivery to the end user because of a design or manufacturing defect or if its
practical use is significantly limited. The warranty shall be void in the case of
natural wear, misuse, incorrect connection, where the device has been repaired
or external influence. The warranty period is 24 months (invoice date). The

Note: The signal strength between the transmitter and the receiver reduces as
the distance increases. For line-of-sight connection, the range is approximately
30m in corridors and 100m in large spaces. The signal strength can be increased
with an 0

4. Fitting and activation
2
4.1 Mounting instructions
- Choose the installation location in accordance with the protection index.
First flatten rough surfaces before installing the device.
Unevenness may lead to the switch malfunctioning.
- During installation, ensure the specified fitting position (O = top, I = bottom) as
shown on the back of the transmitter (1).
- NEVER mount the transmitter in a metal housing or in the immediate vicinity of
large metal objects. It is not advisable to fit it close to or on the floor.
4.2 Installation
- Install the switches (2) on the transmitter (1) then place this assembly onto the
frame (3) (to clip it on well, introduce the assembly by the rear of the frame)
- Use the base (4) as a drill template and mark the holes to be drilled.
- Drill holes for the 5mm wall plugs.
- Fasten the base (4) with screws and plugs.
- Position and screw the frame (3) onto the base (4) making sure the sealing
gasket is in the correct position.
4.3 Activation
- Install the receiver (performed by an electrician only).
- Pair the wall-mounted transmitter with the receiver.
Note: The internal transmitter (1) is not waterproof, it should not get wet! To
clean, wipe with a damp cloth!
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 New or existing installation
• Check the circuit breaker, the power supply and the power connected to the
receiver paired with this transmitter (professional electricians).
• If the receiver functions at a shorter distance relative to the transmitter, it is
subject to interference or used beyond the transmission range.
• Search the system environment for changes that could cause the interference
(e.g. movement of metallic cabinets, furniture or partitions).
• Use the transmitter or receiver in a more suitable location.
• Reset the receiver and repeat the pairing process.
5.2 Automatic activation of the receiver
• The cause may be the activation of a sensor or transmitter outside the system
that has been coincidentally programmed to the receiver.
• Reset the receiver and repeat the pairing process.
5.3 Limitation of the radio signal range
• Transmitter/receiver used too close to metal objects or material containing
metallic elements. Maintain a distance of at least 10cm.
• Humidity in the equipment.
• Devices emitting high frequency signals such as audio and video equipment,
computers or electronic ballasts for fluorescent tubes. Maintain a distance of at
least 0.5 m.
