WARNING: This fixture should only be powered by Juno DLDPS or DLDCP Series Class 2, 24VDC Drivers. Use on non-Juno Drivers may damage fixture and void warranty. See table below for wattage
capacity of Drivers or specs sheet for more detailed information. The IO414 Series is IP67 rated and may be installed outdoors when used with corresponding Juno FlexConnect™ IP67 rated feeds. IP67
rated terminal block, end to end connector and/or end feed Connector must be used anywhere IO414 series has been cut to maintain IP67 rating. Failure to do so will cause premature failure.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read all of these instructions before starting installation.
2. Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
3. Only qualified electricians in accordance with local codes should
install these fixtures.
4. De-energize electrical circuit at circuit breaker prior to installation
process.
5. The fixture is not user serviceable. Do not open fixture.
6. Do not bend LED strip further than a 6" diameter.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Step #1 (Cutting Flexible Linear Strips)
Determine the desired strip length to be used during installation; each
strip is field cuttable every 6" with the manufacturer-specified cutting
tool (IOCUTTER).
Proceed to cut the desired strip length as follows:
1. Place the cutting tool on flat surface and open the cutter tool latch.
2. Place the strip on the cutting tool as shown on Figure 1. Take
special care to align the strip connector center line with the cutting
tool blade.
3. Push down on both sides of the strip as shown on figure 3.
4. Close the blade latch firmly until it comes in contact with the cutter
base.
5. Open the cutter latch and gently pull the two sections apart.
6. Remove the silicone residue on top of the strip connector to
ensure a secure connection with the electrical feeds.
Step # 2 (Connecting Power Feeds)
Juno FlexConnect can accept factory-supplied 22AWG starter cable up
to 12' long (SL101P 36IN or SL101P 144IN). A terminal block (IO101TB
or IO101TB IP67) is also available when necessary to remote mount the
power supply greater than 12' from the start of the run. Terminal block
accepts 14-22AWG.
Be certain the maximum allowable resistance of the starter cable is less
than 0.1932 ohns or refer to the following chart for recommended wire
gauge when using the terminal block (IO101TB IP67 must always be
used in order to maintain IP67 rating).
Note: The first strip section of every 5-ft spool comes with pre-
installed12" power leads. Use a power starter cable or terminal block if
the strip section has been cut from the spool or if longer starter cable is
required.

Juno FlexConnect with optics can be powered/linked using the following accessories:
Indoor –
A. Power feed cables (SL101P 36IN & SL101P 144IN). Use this accessory at the start of the
run.
B. Joiner cables include SL102FLX 2IN, SL102FLX 6IN, SL102FLX 12IN, SL102FLX 36IN &
SL102FLX 72IN. Use any of these to electrically connect two strip sections.
C. 3-Way Joiner Cable (SL102Y). Use this accessory to electrically connect three sections.
D. Terminal block (IO101TB). Use this accessory when a remote driver is installed at a
distance greater than 144", see Figure 3 For maximum starter cable lengths.
Outdoor –
A. Terminal block (IO101TB IP67). Use this accessory to power feed a cut section and
maintain IP67 rating, additionally this accessory can be used when a remote driver is installed
at a distance greater than 144", see Figure 3 for maximum starter cable lengths.
B. End-to-end connector (IO102EE IP67). Use this accessory to electrically connect two
sections end-to-end.
C. End cap (IO101EC IP67). To maintain IP67 rating, use this accessory to seal the end of an
IO414 Series strip that has been field cut.
D. End feed (IO101F IP67). Use this accessory in conjunction with power feeds (SL101P 36IN
& SL101P 144IN) or joiner cables (SL102FLX 2IN, SL102FLX 6IN, SL102FLX 12IN, SL102FLX
36IN & SL102FLX 72IN) to power feed or join two strip cut sections and maintain IP67 rating.
Securing The Strips
OPTION #1 – Use indoor mounting clips (IOCLIPI)
A. Insert the indoor clips into the strip, 1 clip every 3", see Figure 4.
B. Secure clips to a surface using a #5 flat head screw, Note: When 2 sections are joined,
place a clip at each side of the each strip right after the first optic, see Figure 5
Figure 1
OPTION #2 - Use outdoor mounting clips (IOCLIPI)
A. Insert the indoor clips base into the strip, 1 clip every 3", see Figure 6. Make sure to align the
clip base notch with the optic center See Figure 7
B. Assemble the clip top over the strip/base clip assembly, see Figure 8
C. Secure clips to a surface using a #5 flat head screw, Note: An IP67 end to end connector
(IO102EE IP67) must be used to join and secure 2 strip sections.
OPTION #3 – Use IO Series Mounting Channels – refer to mounting channel instructions for
further details.
