General LCD Installation Instructions
Rack Mount:
Consideration must be taken when installed in a closed or multi-rack assembly to ensure that the
maximum ambient temperature (Tma) is within operating specifications.
When mounting the equipment, caution should be taken to prevent a hazardous condition due to
uneven mechanical loading within the rack enclosure.
Consideration should be given to the connection of the equipment to the supply circuit and the
effect that overloading of the circuits might have on overcurrent protection and supply wiring.
Appropriate consideration of equipment nameplate ratings should be used when addressing this
concern.
Reliable earthing of rack-mounted equipment should be maintained. Particular attention should
be given to supply connections other than direct connections to the branch circuit (e.g. use of
power strips).
General:
The product is intended to be installed in a Pollution Degree 2 environment (air that is free from
dust or pollutants that may become conductive) for the rear of the unit.
The product is intended to be installed in a controlled environment with a maximum ambient of
40°C. If installed in a closed assembly, the operating ambient temperature of the environment
may be greater than room ambient. The ambient operating temperature must be maintained
within operational limits.
