Il simbolo del cassonetto barrato, ove riportato sull'apparecchiatura o
sulla confezione, indica che il prodotto alla fine della propria vita utile
deve essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri rifiuti. AI termine dell'uti­
lizzo, l'utente dovrà farsi carico di conferire il prodotto a un idoneo centro
di raccolta differenziata oppure di riconsegnarlo al rivenditore all'atto

INFORMAZIONI GENERALI
La placca EGO SMART è disponibile nella versione due, tre e quattro posti.
La placca è dotata di un display a matrice di punti nella parte superiore, di strisce
LED RGB (lungo il perimetro esterno ed interno nelle parti superiore e inferiore) e di
un sensore di prossimità. Permette la visualizzazione, sul display, di icone dinamiche
descrittive delle funzioni associate ai dispositivi installati all'interno della placca e la
visualizzazione di allarmi e avvisi utilizzando congiuntamente il display (messaggi) e/o
le strisce LED RGB in modo da darne maggiore risalto. Grazie al sensore di prossimità
(vedi fig. F, punto  ) è possibile attivare la funzione "SHIFT", che consente (mediante
gli stessi tasti frontali) di gestire comandi Zigbee alternativi rispetto a quelli standard
associati ai dispositivi di comando connessi installati all'interno della placca. La placca
deve essere alimentata mediante uno dei seguenti dispositivi connessi installato all'in­
terno della stessa scatola: GWA1201, GWA1202, GWA1231, GWA1232, GWA1241,
GWA1242, GW1x826 o mediante alimentatore dedicato GWA1700. Il cavetto di colle­
gamento tra placca e dispositivo che la alimenta è fornito in dotazione nella confezione
della placca. I messaggi testuali visualizzati sulla placca sono disponibili nelle lingue:
italiano, inglese, francese, tedesco, spagnolo, rumeno, turco, ungherese, sloveno.
Il prodotto è coperto da brevetto.
FUNZIONI
• Visualizzazione icone statiche per identificare la funzionalità dei comandi connessi
installati all'interno della placca (stati OFF/Localizzazione notturna)
• Visualizzazione icone per identificare lo stato dei carichi collegati ai frutti smart in
essa contenuti (stato ON)
• Visualizzazione icone dinamiche durante l'attivazione di alcuni comandi (tapparella,
dimmer, scenari)
• Segnalazione di allarme provenienti dai sensori presenti nell'impianto (allagamento,
fumo, portafinestra aperta, movimento, qualità dell'aria, ecc)
• Segnalazione consumo limite superato
• Attivazione funzione "SHIFT" tramite l'oscuramento del sensore di prossimità (vedi
fig. F, punto ) per almeno 2 secondi. La stessa si disattiverà poi automaticamen­

te dopo 5 secondi di eventuale inattività (oppure oscurando nuovamente il sensore di
prossimità per almeno 2 secondi).
• Localizzazione automatica del dispositivo tramite oscuramento del sensore di pros­
simità (vedi fig. F, punto ) per almeno 2 sec, durante l'installazione del disposi­

tivo guidata dalla Home Gateway App (commissioning)
• Informazione oraria durante stand­by (disponibile solo con impianto connesso a in­
ternet) oppure indicazione della temperatura ambientale
• Personalizzazione colore e luminosità della placca smart
• Regolazione automatica della luminosità in base alla rilevazione presenza e in base
ad orari prestabiliti (modalità notturna)

MONTAGGIO E COLLEGAMENTO
Le placche EGO SMART GW160003SXX, GW16004SXX e GW16022SXX vengono
fornite con un cavetto di collegamento.
ATTENZIONE: Le placche EGO SMART devono essere montate su
telai smart (GW16803N per la GW16003SXX, GW16804N per la
GW16004SXX, GW16821N e GW16822N per la GW16022SXX)
ATTENZIONE: Le seguenti operazioni devono essere svolte in assenza
di tensione nell'impianto
ATTENZIONE: La placca EGO SMART è dotata di un sensore di prossi­
mità. Rispettare le indicazioni fornite nelle seguenti note d'installazione e
d'uso per assicurarne il corretto funzionamento (vedi fig. F, G). Il sensore
ha una area di rilevamento a forma conica con ampiezza α = 22° ed
una distanza massima di rilevamento di l = 14 cm (vedi fig. F). La
placca deve essere installata ad una altezza da terra tale che non vi
siano oggetti, mobili o pareti che interferiscano con l'area di rilevamento
(vedi fig. G). Verificare che la distanza da eventuali arredi sottostanti sia
di almeno H1 = 5 cm al di sotto di essa. La placca potrà essere installata
in prossimità di una parete laterale mantenendo una distanza da questa
pari ad almeno 5 cm.
Montaggio (vedi fig. E):
1. Installare all'interno della placca i dispositivi, di cui almeno uno deve poter ali­
mentare la placca (vedere elenco dispositivi nel paragrafo informazioni generali)
2. Inserire il cavetto di collegamento in corrispondenza del morsetto presente sul
dispositivo scelto per alimentare la placca (vedi dettagli punto 2, fig. E)
3. Estrarre il cavetto del foro laterale di sinistra (vista frontale) presente sul supporto
ITALIANO (vedi dettaglio punto 3, fig. E)
4. Inserire l'altro capo del cavetto nel morsetto apposito presente sulla placca EGO
SMART (vedi dettagli punto 4, fig. E)
5. Posizionare e fissare il supporto sulla scatola da incasso (Per GW16603SXX utiliz­
zare il supporto GW16803N compatibile con scatole GW24403 e GW20404PM;
per GW166004SXX utilizzare il supporto GW16804N compatibile con scatole
GW24404 e GW24404PM; per GW16022SXX utilizzare il supporto GW16822N,
compatibile con scatole GW24231, GW24234PM e GW24232, oppure il supporto
GW16821N, compatibile con scatole GW24208, GW24209 e GW24232)
6. Installare la placca EGO SMART sul supporto, facendo attenzione a far rientrare
all'interno della scatola da incasso il cavetto di collegamento
PROGRAMMAZIONE
Per poter programmare ed utilizzare la placca EGO SMART, così come l'impianto
smart home, è necessario scaricare la Home Gateway App da Play Store o App Store.
MANUTENZIONE
Il dispositivo non necessità di manutenzione. Per un'eventuale pulizia adoperare un
panno asciutto.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The EGO SMART PLATE comes in a 2­gang, 3­gang and 4­gang version.
It has a dot matrix display in the upper part, RGB LED strips (along the outer and inner
edges, in the upper and lower parts), and a proximity sensor. The display visualises
the dynamic icons of the functions associated with the devices installed in the plate,
along with alarms and warnings directly on the display itself (messages) and/or RGB
LED strips to highlight them. The proximity sensor (see Fig. F, point
activation of the "SHIFT" function for managing (via the front button keys) different Zig­
Bee commands to the standard ones associated with the connected command devices
installed in the plate. The plate must be powered via one of the following connect­
ed devices installed in the same box: GWA1201, GWA1202, GWA1231, GWA1232,
GWA1241, GWA1242, GW1x826, or via the specific GWA1700 power supply unit. The
cable for connecting the plate to the device that powers it is supplied with the plate
pack. The text messages can be visualised on the plate in: Italian, English, French,
German, Spanish, Romanian, Turkish, Hungarian or Slovenian.
The product carries a patent.
FUNCTIONS
• Visualisation of static icons identifying the activation of the connected commands
installed in the plate (OFF or night­time localisation status)
• Visualisation of icons identifying the status of the loads connected to the smart
components inside it (ON status)
• Visualisation of dynamic icons during the activation of certain commands (roller
shutter, dimmer, scenes)
• Signalling of alarms from the sensors in the system (flood, smoke, French window
open, movement, air quality, etc.)
• Signalling of consumption limit exceeded
• Activation of the "SHIFT" function following the darkening of the proximity sensor
(See Fig. F, point ) for at least 2 seconds. The function will be automatically

deactivated after 5 seconds if it is not used in that time (or if the proximity sensor is
darkened again for at least 2 seconds).
• Automatic localisation of the device by the darkening of the proximity sensor (See
Fig. F, point  ) for at least 2 seconds during device installation guided by the Home
Gateway App (commissioning)
• Hourly information in standby (only available if the system is connected to the Inter­
net)or indication of the room temperature
• Personalisation of the colour and light intensity of the smart plate
• Automatic adjustment of the light intensity on the basis of movement detection and
predefined times (night­time mode)

ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION
The GW160003SXX, GW16004SXX and GW16022SXX EGO SMART plates are sup­
plied with a connection cable.
ATTENTION: Ego Smart plates must be mounted on Smart frames
(GW16803N for the GW16003SXX, GW16804N for the GW16004SXX,
GW16821N and GW16822N for the GW16022SXX)
ATTENTION: The following operations must only be carried out when the
system is not powered
ATTENTION: The EGO SMART plate is fitted with a proximity sensor. To
ensure correct operation, respect the indications given in the following
installation and user notes (see Fig. F, G). The sensor has a conical de­
tection area with amplitude α = 22° and a maximum detection distance
of l = 14 cm (see Fig. F). The plate must be installed at a height such as
to ensure there are no objects, furniture items or walls that interfere with
the detection area (see Fig. G). Check the distance from any furniture
items underneath is at least H1 = 5 cm. The plate may be installed near
a side wall, but at least 5 cm from it.
Assembly (see Fig. E):
1. Install the devices ­ at least one of which must be able to power the plate (see the
list of devices in the general information paragraph) ­ in the plate
2. Insert the connection cable in line with the terminal on the device selected to power
the plate (see details 2, Fig. E)
3. Draw the cable out of the left­hand hole (as seen from the front) on the support
(see detail 3, Fig. E)
4. Insert the other end of the cable in the specific terminal on the EGO SMART plate
(see detail 4, Fig. E)
5. Position and fix the support on the flush­mounting box (for GW16603SXX use
support GW16803N, compatible with GW24403 and GW20404PM boxes;
for GW166004SXX use support GW16804N, compatible with GW24404 and
GW24404PM boxes; for GW16022SXX use support GW16822N, compatible with
GW24231, GW24234PM and GW24232 boxes, or support GW16821N, compatible
with GW24208, GW24209 and GW24232 boxes)
6. Install the EGO SMART plate on the support, making sure the connection cable is
packed inside the flush­mounting box
PROGRAMMING
To program and use the EGO SMART plate and the smart home system, download the
Home Gateway App from Play Store or App Store.
MAINTENANCE
The device does not require any maintenance. If you want to clean it, use a dry cloth.
