5.1 Introduction

5.3 Replace battery cartridge
• Always switch off the tool before insertion or removal of the battery cartridge .
• To remove the battery cartridge, withdraw it from the clipper while pressing the buttons on both sides
of the battery cartridge .
• To insert the battery cartridge, align the tongue on the battery cartridge with the groove in the housing
and slip it into place . Always insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click . If not, it may
accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to you or someone around you .
• Do not use force when inserting the battery cartridge . If the battery cartridge does not slide in easily,
it is not being inserted correctly .
• A full charge takes around 1 hour .
• A full charge lasts approximately 1 hour . Battery cartridge is automatically stopped when the output
power is low ( output voltage is less than 8V) .
Cause
Battery empty
- Switches or motor defective
- Air infeed opening blocked
- Defective motor
- Battery almost empty
- Rotor runs untrue
- Bearings are worn out
- Fan wheel broken
- Bearing defective
Cause
- Blade not inserted correctly
- Upper blade or lower blade are blunt * Replace the blade
