Neotenic est le fruit de la première collaboration
entre Petite Friture et les designers américains
Justin Donnelly et Monling Lee qui ont fondé le
studio Jumbo.
Ses formes rondes et généreuses font référence à
l'esthétique rassurante de l'enfance. L'intention
des designers: susciter une émotion et créer un
lien charnel entre l'homme et l'objet. Les coloris,
signature de l'univers coloriel de Petite Friture,
suggèrent l'image régressive de l'aubergine et de
la sauce tomate.

Neotenic was born of the first collaboration
between Petite Friture and the American designers
Justin Donnelly and Monling Lee, founders of the
Jumbo studio.
Its round, generous shapes reference the
reassuring aesthetics of childhood. The designers'
intention was to create an emotion, a visceral link
between man and object. Shaped like cavatappi
pasta, they feature colors that reflect the Petite
Friture palette, hues that evoke childhood images
of eggplants and tomato sauce.
