1. Note: Before setting up Tripod Stand, use included
Nut Driver to loosen Nuts on Rings around lower
Legs. This will prevent scratching of the leather
during set-up. Place Tripod upright in desired
location, adjusting position of Legs outward to
stabilize. Use Nut Driver to loosen any nuts that
are resistant to needed movement during set-up.
2. Retighten Nuts on Rings (and any other
loosened nuts) until secure. Also, adjust position
of Feet Disks using Nut Driver. Note: Feet Disks
need to rest flat on the floor for optimal stability,
before adding weight of Monocular to Tripod.
3. Handle was shipped attached to Tripod in
reverse position (A) to protect protruding parts
during shipping. Loosen Screw that holds Handle
to shaft with screwdriver. Remove Handle.
Place Handle on shaft in the opposite direction
as illustrated (B), and tighten Screw to secure in
correct position.
4. Loosen Knob on upper Tripod center pole. Set
shaft of Monocular Cradle into opening. Tighten
Knob to secure Monocular in desired direction.
5. Turn Handle to raise or lower Monocular. Tilt
Monocular to desired angle, tightening side nut
to secure.
6. Turn Eyepiece ring to focus.
