IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow safety precautions, especially
when children are present.
• Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electric shock, fire, or injury to persons, DO NOT IMMERSE
CORD, PLUG, OR BASE UNIT IN WATER or other liquids.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance has
malfunctioned, or has been damaged in any manner.
• Always unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and allow it to cool
completely before cleaning or handling.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result
in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or countertop or touch hot
surfaces.
• Do not place the appliance on or near a hot burner or inside the oven.
• Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
• Use appliance only as described in this instruction manual.
• Use extreme caution when moving appliances containing hot water, tea, or coffee.
• Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 4-6 inches of space on all
sides of the product to allow adequate air circulation.
• Use appliance on a table or flat surface. Keep the product away from flammable
materials.
• Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
• Do not operate the product empty.
• Do not operate the product if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or
damaged, or if the Motor Housing is dropped in or exposed to water.
• This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this
product yourself. Please review the Warranty Policy on page 8.
• Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the product.
• An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product.
• Do not attempt maintenance or disassemble the appliance. Please contact
info@selaproducts.com for warranty service.
WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will
fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the elec-
trical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electri-
cian. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized
plug.
