1.
Remove the battery earth cable.
Remove the shelf.
Pull the floor covering forward.
Remoe the coverplate of the spare wheel.
Remove the treshold.
Partially loosen the sidecovering at the left and right hand side.
(Careful for tearing!)
2.
Use the grommet which is located in the back of the boot, at the right hand side of the center.
Notch this grommet.
3.
Route the wiring harness in the boot.
Lead the 8-pole end through the grommet to the socket.
Pull the coverplate over the wiring harness.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as indicated:
Trailer lighting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Earth
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight
Mount the socket to the towbar.
4.
Above the grommet a 6-pole connector is located.
Disconnect this connector.
Fit the connectors with the blue and grey wire between this connector.
Near both rearlight units 4-pole connectors are located.
Disconnect these connectors.
Fit the connectors with the red, green and brown wire between the connector at the righthand side.
Fit the connectors with the black and yellow wire between the connector at the lefthand side.
Fit the white wire to chassis earth.
5.
Reconnect the battery and check all electric functions, with trailer/caravan connected.
Reinstall disassembled parts.
