1.
Remove the battery earth cable.
Remove side covering in the back of the car.
Open the entrance to the rearlight units.

Drill a hole just behind the socketplate of the towbar, as big as the rubber grommet.
Remove carefully all metal particles around the hole and treat it with anti-rust paint.
Fit the rubber grommet in the hole.
3.
Lead the wiringharness in the boot and lead the end through the hole to the socket.
Watch out for heat!
Pull the coverplate over the harness.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as follows:
Trailer lighting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Earth
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight
Mount the socket to the socket plate.
4.
On both rearlightunits a connector is located.
Disconnect these two connectors.
Connect the red wiringharness end corresponding with those connectors on the right side.
Connect the green wiringharness end corresponding with those connectors on the right side.
Fit the white wire to the earth chassis.
5.
Reconnect the battery and check all electric functions, with the trailer/caravan connected.
Reinstall the disassembled parts.
