GENERAL USER INFORMATION

x Before using the appliance for the first time, you must read and understand the operation manual completely.
x Consider the operation manual as part of the product and store it in a safe and accessible place. Include this
operation manual if passing the appliance on to a third party.
x The manufacturer can in no case be liable for any damage caused by misuse, neglect, use for non-intended
purpose, failure to install correctly, failure to follow any manufacturers guidelines/instructions for use and
general care, normal wear and tear, repairs and/or modifications made by unauthorized third parties or use of
non-approved spare parts or accessories.
x In the case of conflicts with national safety specifications or instructions, the national requirements must be
followed.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using this electrical appliance, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always
be observed.
x This appliance can be used by children from aged 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
x Children shall not play with the appliance.
x Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
x Use this appliance only for its intended purpose.
x Do not use with a voltage converter.
Danger! Electric shock due to damage to appliance
x Do not operate the appliance with a broken cord or plug, or if the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or
damaged in anyway.
x If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
x Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the work surface or let it touch any hot surfaces.
WARNING:
Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or
other vessels containing water.
x To protect against risk of electrical shock, never immerse the unit or let it come into contact with water or any
other liquids. Do not use the unit with wet hands. If the appliance should become wet, damp or fall in water,
remove plug from mains socket immediately. Do not put your hands in the water.
x When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the
proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
x For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device
(RDC) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is
advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask for installer
for advice. The installation of the appliance and its use must however
comply with the standards in force in your country .
Warning! Injuries due to incorrect handling
x Switch off the appliance and unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off attachments
and before cleaning the appliance.
x Never use the appliance on artificial hair
x Care should be taken to avoid contact with the skin, face and neck.
Caution! Danger of product damage
x Never use your appliance without paying attention!
x Always unplug the unit when not in use or left unattended.
x Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
x Do not use outdoors or in damp areas.
x Never carry the unit by its power cord.
x During use the appliance and accessories become hot. Keep them away from surfaces that are not resistant to
heat. Do not leave them near clothes, paper or other combustible objects and never cover them.
x Do not apply hair products directly on the appliance. Do not direct any spray to it.
x Allow the appliance to cool before storing away.
CARE AND CLEANING
x Always disconnect the appliance from the wall socket and allow it to cool down completely before any cleaning operation.
x Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or scrub pads. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
x Wipe the main body and the ceramic plates with a slightly damp and soft cloth and dry with a soft and dry cloth.
x Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

Before use
x Read instructions carefully before use.
x Press and hold the water storage tank, and take it
down as shown below (demount the water storage
tank as shown below).
x Open the PVC cover of the
water storage tank and fill the
tank with demineralized water.
Do not fill the water tank with
lotion, cosmetic, incense oil,
solid and other matters that will cause damage to the product.
x Remount the water tank. Verify the direction of the tank, and horizontally push the tank into the card slot of the
tank until you hear a "click" sound. Please be sure the water tank has been properly mounted before use.
Make sure the outside of the water tank is dry when inserted back into the apparatus.
For initial use, and every time after filling the water tank and starting up for use, keep the Ultron Perfect
Steam straightener closed until steam emits from the steam outlet, which will take about 10 seconds.
Initial use
x Read instructions carefully before use.
x Connect to the power supply. Press and hold the on/off button to start the Ultron Perfect Steam straightener,
and the LCD screen will start automatically.
x Select the appropriate temperature for your hair. The default turn-on temperature when it is plugged in for
the first time is 190°C; the default turn-on again temperature without cutting off the power supply is the
temperature applied last time.
How to use
x When plugged into power, the Ultron steam straightener displays "OFF", and the buzzer beeps once, indicating
that it is connected to the power supply.
x Press and hold the on-off key
for 3 seconds to start preheating the Perfect Steam
straightener. When the temperature reaches the set temperature, the buzzer beeps twice.
(Steam symbol. When the heat bar is flashing, it indicates the temperature is rising, when the
heat bar is always on, it indicates that the temperature reaches the chosen temperature.)
x 5 seconds after you finish setting the temperature, the safe lock will automatically lock (a
lock symbol will appear on the screen). This model can prevent you from pressing the key to
change the set temperature with no intention.
x If you want to change the temperature of the steam straightener, you must unlock first. Press
and hold any key for 3 seconds, the lock symbol on the screen will disappear so that you can
change the temperature.
x According to your hair quality, select an appropriate temperature model
150°C - 170°C - 190°C - 210°C or 23°C.
x While using the Perfect Steam straightener for hair
styling, clamp the hair between the plates and move
it slowly from the root to the tip, then the steam ions
from the straightener will be divided evenly onto the
hair to offer extra hydration to the hair.
x When it is not used for 20 minutes, the Perfect Steam straightener will automatically enter the
power-saving mode "SLP" (SLEEP mode) and lower the temperature to 150°C. When it is not
used for one hour, it will automatically shut down.
x As the Perfect Steam straightener still has afterheat after the power has been switched off,
please let it cool down for at least 10 minutes before storing it.
Cleaning & maintenance
x Switch off the device and unplug the power cord. Let it cool down for at least 10 minutes.
x Use a dry cloth to clean the residue on the straightener.
x Demount the water storage tank, and remove the water in the tank.
x Use a dry towel to wipe off the water on the surface of the Perfect Steam straightener to keep it dry.
x You can demount the comb and clean it with water, and remount the comb when it is dry (demount and mount
the comb as shown below).
x If it is not used for a long time, please fully dry the device, demount the water storage tank and remove the
residual water in the water tank and store the device when fully dried.
