BEFORE FIRST USE
Thoroughly clean the parts that come into contact with food before you use the appliance for the first time.
PREPARE FOR USE
1 Let hot ingredients cool down before you chop them, blend them or pour them into the beaker (max.
temperature 80°C).
2 Cut large ingredients into pieces of approximately 2 cm before you process them.
3 Assemble the appliance properly before you put the plug in the wall socket.
USING THE APPLIANCE
The hand blender is intended for:
- blending liquids, e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices, soups, mixed drinks and shakes.
- mixing soft ingredients, e.g.
- pureeing cooked ingredients, e.g. for making baby food.
1. Attach the S.s stick to the motor unit until it locks.
2. Put the ingredients in the beaker and just as well in any other vessel.
3.
Immerse the blade guard completely in the ingredients to avoid splashing.
4. Then choose "1"-"5", switch the appliance on by pressing the normal or turbo speed button.
5.
Blend the ingredients by moving the appliance slowly up and down and in circles to blend the
ingredient.
6.
Use the hand blender for no longer than 1 minute.
Caution: the blade is very sharp!
CLEANING
Do not immerse the motor unit, the chopper coupling unit and the whisk coupling unit in water.

Unplug the appliance.

Press the release buttons on the motor unit to remove the blender bar or coupling unit.

Disassemble the rest of the parts.

Wipe the motor unit, the chopper coupling and the whisk coupling unit with a moist cloth.
Do not immerse the motor unit, S.s stick unit in water.

Unplug the appliance.

Press the release buttons on the motor unit to remove the S.s stick.

Wipe the motor unit, the S.s stick with a moist cloth.
Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE),
requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal
unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to
optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on
human health and the environment.
The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that
when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of
their old appliance.
