Field mountable to Circuit Breaker type L9.
L9-AMRS3
Up to two alarm switches of type can be
mounted once on the right side of the Circuit Breaker.
Function of the signal contact
The signal contacts is used to monitor the trip states of
the circuit breaker. In case of a trip the status of the c/o
contact changes and the orange reset button is released.
The alarm signal can be acknowledged and switched off
by pressing the reset button.
Installation
1. remove coupling cover on the right hand
side of the circuit breaker
2. circuit breaker in ON position
3. signal contact in ON position
Repeat same procedure when fitting a second signal
contact at the right hand side of the first signal contact.

When switching the MCB from ON to OFF position and
vice versa make sure the signal contact function simul-
taneously follows the position of the MCB.

The proper function of the signal contact can be tested
with the test button without tripping the MCB itself.
When pressing the test button the signal contact will
be switched over and the orange reset button will be
released. This can be tested in either position of the
MCB.

Disposal

Nachträglich anbaubar an Sicherungsau-
tomaten L9.
Es sind maximal 2 Stück L9-AMRS3 einmalig (Ver-
rastung) rechts am Sicherungsautomaten anbaubar.
Funktion des Signalkontakts
Es erfolgt nur eine Meldung, wenn der Sicherungsau-
tomat durch einen Fehler ausgelöst hat (orangefarbe-
ne Resettaste löst aus), nicht wenn durch Handbetäti-
gung der Sicherungsautomat ein- oder ausgeschaltet
wurde. Nach Auslösung des Sicherungsautomaten
kann durch Drücken der orangefarbenen Resettaste
die Quittierung bzw. Abstellung der Fehlermeldung
erfolgen. Dabei ändert nur der Wechslerkontakt des
Signalkontakts seine Kontaktstellung.
Montage
1. rechtsseitige Kopplungsabdeckung
des Sicherungsautomaten entfernen
2. Sicherungsautomat in EIN-Stellung
3. Signalkontakt in EIN-Stellung
4. Geräte zusammenstecken
Gleiches Vorgehen beim Anbau eines zweiten
Signalkontakts rechts am ersten Signalkontakt.
Funktionskontrolle
Durch Betätigung des Sicherungsautomaten von
EIN in AUS-Stellung und zurück ist die mechanische
Funktion des Mitschaltens des Signalkontakts zu
kontrollieren.
