Mikrofon und Mund so nah wie möglich sein. Das Funkgerät kann mit Gürtelclip an
der Kleidung fest gemacht oder in die Jackentasche gesteckt werden.
Einstellung: Kommunikation via Headset ist nur bei eingeschalteter VOX-Funktion
möglich! Durch VOX entfällt das Tastendrücken beim Sprechen und Ihre Hände bleiben
frei. Siehe Kapitel »VOX«.
Anrufen: siehe Kapitel »CALL«.
Senden: Sprechen Sie in das Mikrofon, die Nachricht wird automatisch übertragen.
Empfangen: Solange das Headset mit dem Funkgerät verbunden ist, empfangen Sie
den Klingelton und Sprachübertragung nur via Ohrhörer.
Achtung: Prüfen Sie unbedingt und zuerst die Lautstärke! Sie darf nicht zu hoch eingestellt
sein, um eventuelle Gehörschäden zu vermeiden (siehe Kapitel »Lautstärke einstellen«).
Verwenden Sie nur das dieser Packung beigefügte Headset.
Beenden: Stöpseln Sie das Headset aus der Anschlussbuchse, wenn Sie das Walkie
Talkie ohne Kopfhörer verwenden möchten, da sonst das Gerät weiterhin nur über
Kopfhörer empfängt.
Betriebsende
Bitte nicht vergessen, die Funkgeräte abzuschalten. Werden sie längere Zeit nicht benutzt,
sollten Sie die Batterien entfernen, da auch bei abgeschalteten Geräten ein minimaler
Stand-by Strom fließt.
Hinweis: Das Gerät behält den letzten Stand aller bestätigten Einstellungen bei bevor
es ausgeschaltet wird.
Wenn etwas nicht funktioniert
Keine Funktion
Prüfen, ob Batterien richtig gepolt eingesetzt oder zu schwach sind.
Sendung wird nicht übermittelt
Die PTT-Taste muss während der gesamten Sendung gedrückt gehalten werden. Das
Mikrofon darf nicht blockiert sein. Prüfen, ob Batterien richtig gepolt eingesetzt oder
zu schwach sind.
Sendung wird nicht empfangen
Überprüfen Sie, ob die Kanäle und Subcodes beider Geräte übereinstimmen. Achten
Sie darauf, dass die PTT-Taste nicht versehentlich gedrückt ist. Hindernisse in Räumen
oder Fahrzeugen könnten die Kommunikation stören. Wechseln Sie Ihren Standort.
Überprüfen Sie, ob die Lautstärke laut genug eingestellt ist. Prüfen, ob Batterien richtig
gepolt eingesetzt oder zu schwach sind.
Schwacher/zu leiser Empfang:
Die Lautstärke erhöhen. Standortwechsel probieren. Funkgerät nicht zu nahe am
Körper halten.
Mithören anderer Unterhaltungen oder Geräusche auf dem Kanal
Auf dem eingestellten Kanal könnte sich ein anderer Benutzer befinden. Wechseln Sie
auf einen anderen Kanal.
Eingeschränkte Reichweite
Reichweiten sind umgebungsabhängig (s. Kapitel Reichweite). Das Tragen des Funk-
gerätes sehr dicht am Körper wie z.B. in der Hosentasche oder am Gürtel kann die
Reichweite ebenfalls verringern. Verändern Sie die Position des Gerätes.
Starke Statik oder Interferenzen
Zwischen sendenden und empfangenden Geräten ist ein Mindestabstand von ca. 2 m
einzuhalten, da sich sonst eventuell ein Rückkoppelungspfeifen ergibt. Ggf. die Lautstärke
verringern. Auch Hindernisse können die Übertragung stören.
Kanäle/Funktionen können nicht geändert werden
Prüfen, ob Tastensperre eingeschaltet ist. Auch zu schwache Batterien führen evtl. zu
Funktionsstörungen.
Headset funktioniert nicht
Überprüfen Sie, dass der Stecker vollständig an die Headset-Buchse angeschlossen ist
(silberner Schaft vom Klinkenstecker nicht mehr sichtbar). Die VOX-Funktion muss
aktiviert sein. Sind Geräuschempfindlichkeit oder Lautstärke zu niedrig eingestellt?

Manuel d´Utilisation
This two-way radio (PMR 446) is easy to handle. The included headset allows freehand
communication (VOX function must be activated). Each unit requires 3 x 1,5 V alkaline
batteries (LR03/AAA, not included). The communication range is up to 3 km in clear
unobstructed conditions. Please study this manual and safety instructions carefully
before use and keep them for future reference.

Ce talkie-walkie (PMR 446) est facile à manier. Grâce aux écouteurs inclus vos mains
restent libres pendant la communication mobile (fonction VOX doit être activée).
Chaque appareil a besoin de 3 piles alcalines AAA (1,5 V), non fournies. La portée de
la communication est jusqu´à 3 km en bonnes conditions sans obstacles. Veuillez lire
ce manuel et les consignes de sécurité attentivement avant utilisation et bien conserver
ces informations pour des futures références.
Battery Installation

Installation des piles
Switch off the radio and remove the belt clip (fig.1). Open the battery compartment door
(fig.2). Insert 3 x AAA alkaline batteries according to the anode and cathode signs shown
in the battery compartment (fig.3). Close the battery compartment door.
When the battery level becomes low the battery icon will appear on the screen. Once
the battery is too low, the unit will power off automatically. Please change the batteries.
Éteignez la radio et enlevez le clip ceinture (fig.1). Ouvrez la porte du compartiment
des piles (fig.2). Mettez 3 piles alcalines AAA en respectant les signes anode-cathode
inscrits dans le compartiment des piles (fig.3). Fermez la porte du compartiment des piles.
Quand la puissance des piles commence à baisser, l´icône des piles s´affichera à l´écran.
Quand les piles sont trop faibles, l´appareil s´éteindre automatiquement. Il est alors
nécessaire de changer les piles.
Please note:
Don´t mix new and old, different styles, alkaline and rechargeable and dif-
ferent capacity batteries. There is danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type. Batteries are to be inserted with the
correct polarity. To avoid battery leakage remove batteries in case they are not used for
a longer time. If batteries are damaged, they should be disposed of carefully. Do not
dispose of the batteries to heat source to avoid explosion. Never throw them into fire!
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are to be
removed from the unit before being charged. The supply terminals are not to be short-
circuited. Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
Attention: Ne mélangez pas des piles neuves et des vieilles, des piles différentes, des
alcalines et des rechargeables et des piles de capacités différentes. Respectez les polarités
des différents éléments en les montant. Il y a danger d´explosion si les piles ne sont pas
placées correctement. Changez les piles uniquement par des piles équivalentes ou du
même type. Si vous n´utilisez pas les radios pour bien longtemps, enlevez les piles pour
éviter qu´elles se mettent à couler. Des piles endommagées doivent être enlevées avec
précaution. Ne remplacez pas les piles dans une atmosphère présentant des risques de
déflagration. Ne les jetez jamais au feu! Ne rechargez jamais des piles non rechargeables.
Les piles rechargeables doivent être enlevées de l´appareil avant le chargement. Déposez
les piles usées chez un point de rassemblement public.
Power On/Off

Mettre l´appareil en/hors service
Power on: Press and hold POWER key for 3 seconds to turn on the radio. A »Beep«
sound indicates the unit is ready for use.
Power off: Press again the POWER key for 3 seconds during standby operation to turn
off the radio. A »Beep» sound will also be heard, indicating the radio is going to be
switched off.
En service: Maintenez la touche marche/arrêt pressée pendant 3 secondes pour allumer
l´appareil. Un »Bip« indique que l´appareil est prêt à être utilisé.
Hors service: Maintenez la touche marche/arrêt pressée pendant 3 secondes pour éteindre
l´appareil. Un »Bip« se fera également entendre indiquant que la radio va s´éteindre.
Channel Setting

Sélectionner un canal
Select the same channel as that of your partner, e.g. CH = 01
Press MENU key (1x) to enter the channel menu. Press UP or DOWN key to change
the channel (01-08). Press POWER key to confirm the setting.

Appuyez 1x sur la touche MENU. Grâce aux touches flèches haut ou bas, sélectionnez
un canal libre (01-08). Confirmez votre choix en appuyant sur la touche marche/arrêt.
Subcode Selection

Press MENU key (2x) to enter the subcode setting. Press UP or DOWN key to select
the subcode (00-38). Press POWER key to confirm the setting and return to main screen.
Remarks: If subcode is 00, LCD screen will not show 00 i.e. no subcode is selected.
A communication is only possible if both partners have selected the same channel and
same subcode.
Appuyez 2x sur la touche MENU. Grâce aux touches flèches haut ou bas, sélectionnez
le numéro du signal pilote (00-38). Confirmez votre choix en appuyant sur la touche
marche/arrêt. Indication: Cependant, il faut assurer que vous et votre station partenaire

Press CALL key one time to send a ring tone to your partner.
Si vous appuyez sur la touche CALL, un son d´appel est émis que la station partenaire reçoit.
Selecting Call Tone

Sélection du son d´appel
Press MENU key (5x) to enter the call tone menu. Press UP or DOWN key to
select call tone (01-05). Call tone demonstration will be heard in each selection. Press
POWER key to confirm the selected sound.
Remark: The default setting of call tone is 01.

Transmitting Message

Transmettre un signal
Press and hold PTT key and speak into the microphone. The transmitting icon shows
on the LCD screen to indicate transmission status. If PTT key is pressed and held above
3 minutes, transmission will stop and a warning signal sounds. Meanwhile, the partner
who is in receiving status will stop receiving. After releasing PTT key, warning signal
will be eliminated. Press PTT key again, and transmission will continue. Do not touch
the antenna during transmission.
