1.
Remove the battery earth cable.
Remove covering in the back of the car.
2.
Drill a hole under both rearlight units, or use an existing rubber grommet.
Remove carefully all metal particles around each hole and treat it with anti-rust paint.
Fit the rubber grommets in the holes.
3.
Route the wiringharness with the brown and green wire to the right rearlight unit.
The other wiringharness to the left rearlight unit.
Tie the wiringharness with the supplied tieraps.
Pull the coverplate over the wiringharness.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as follows:
Trailer lighting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Earth
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight
4.
The other cables will be connected with quickconnectors as follows:
Colors
Functions
Green
Right indicator light
Yellow
Left indicator light
White
Connect to the earth
Brown
Right taillight
Black
Left taillight
Red
Brake light
* Check the work with a test lamp!
5.
Rearfoglight switch
Rearfoglight switch
6.
Reconnect the battery and check all electric functions, with trailer/caravan connected.
Reinstall disassembled parts.
