4. Lift the fabric liner to expose the two bottom holes that contained the plastic push pins (#7 & #8) and carefully
install a spring nut #028004 onto each hole.
5. Finish removing the protective frisket from the upper panel of the mud flap and move it into place to be installed.
Tightly install the bracket to the inner factory bolts #9 & #10 through holes #11 & #12, using (2) serrated flange
Nuts #025025. *Note* We recommend pushing the flap and bracket as far back as possible to provide the best
clearance.
6. Loosely attach the mud flap to the fender through holes #2 & #3 into the sprint nuts #7 & #8 using (2) sheet metal
screws #016041 and (2) flat washers #018018.
7. Loosely reinstall the upper factory screw through hole #1 using (1) flat washer #018028 and (1) nylon washer
#054061.
8. Using a bubble level or square, ensure that the mud flap is level. Viewing the truck from the back, the outer edge
of the mud flap should appear parallel to the tires.
9. Carefully tighten all screws, including the inner bracket machine carriage bolts. Double check that the mud flap is
still level.
10. Repeat procedure on passenger side.
