APPLICATIONS

Applications are demolition work, crushing concrete, chipping, digging, and squaring. Application Ex-

amples: Installation of piping and wiring, sanitary facility installation, machinery installation, water supply
and drainage work, interior jobs and other civil engineering work.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1.
Power source
Ensure that the power source which is utilized conforms to the power requirements specified on the
product name
2.
Grounding
This tool should be grounded while in use to protect the operator from electric shock.
3.
Power switch
Ensure that the power switch is in the OFF position. If the plug is connected to a power receptacle
while the power switch is in the ON position, serious accidents can occur.
4.
Extension cord
When the work area has no power source, use an extension cord of sufficient thickness and rated
capacity. The extension cord should be kept as short as possible.
5.
Oil dispenser (see paragraph on oil dispenser)
Prior to using the power tool, remove the oil gauge and refill the oil tank with oil (although the oil tank
is built in, it contains only a small volume of oil).
6.
Checking the tools built into the device

a.
Rotate the stop lever 180 degrees in a clockwise direction while pulling it towards you. Next,
insert the tool shank into the hexagonal hole on the front cover (Fig.1).
b.
Clamp the tool by turning the stop lever half a turn in the opposite direction (Fig.2).
c.
When removing the tools follow the procedure in reverse order.

Insert the tool directing the indentation downwards (1) and then lock it. To do this pull the lock
lever sideways and turn it 180 degrees (2) in any direction.
NOTE! Upon inserting the tool make sure that the tool is properly locked. To do this, pull the
tool several times to see if it can be easily released from its mounting.
To remove the tool from the hammer unlock the lock lever by pulling it sideways and turning it
180 degrees in any direction. Now the tool can be safely removed from the device
