Practical handling

Use
The carer now grasps the functional handles and can move the
user in the bed, from one bed to another, from lying to seated
position and then standing, etc. (Illustrations 1 and 2).
If MiniBoard is used to lift a user from the floor, carers should
assess working conditions and space available vis-à-vis correct
manual handling techniques and the total weight that can be
lifted responsibly.
MiniBoard in under the user. Roll the user back and then
roll him/her gently in the opposite direction and fold out the
functional handles.
MiniBoard can be easily removed by moving the functional
handles to one side in under the MiniBoard, rolling the user
gently to this side, and then pulling MiniBoard out on the
opposite side.
