Overall tips
•
Do not overfill the bags. Leave enough space at the end of the bag, where it is going to
be sealed, so it can be placed in the vacuum chamber.
•
Make sure the bag's opening is not wet, as these could affect to the device's
performance.
•
Perishable ingredients still have to be stored in fridge and freezer, the vacuum sealing
process cannot replace the preservation function completely.
•
Make sure the bag opening is completely clean and flat before sealing it. Stretch the
bag as it is placed in the vacuum chamber until the device starts operating.
•
When vacuuming or sealing items with sharpened edges (spaghetti, cutlery),
wrap them in soft materials such as tissue paper, in order to prevent the bag from
damaging.
•
Pre-freeze fruits and vegetables before vacuum-sealing them for better results.
•
Allow the machine to rest 40 seconds between each use.
•
Use components and accessories provided by Cecotec for better and safer results.
