A function test is performed automatically depending on the cause of fault. If the
fault has been corrected and functionality has been re-established, the escape
route securing system will be locked automatically in order to test the function of
the system components.
If release commands are pending, a release takes place immediately. If no release
commands are pending, the locking remains in effect.
Warning!
Danger arising from tampering or improperly performed repairs If the ePED
terminal 1386D00 or parts of the device cannot resume normal operation after a
fault or alarm message, or if there is evidence of damage, the device may only be
repaired by a qualified person.
