Important safeguards

When using electrical appliances, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and / or injury to
persons, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Use this blanket as an under blanket only. It is not recommended for futons or similar folding bed
systems.

This blanket is not recommended for use on an adjustable bed. If used on and adjustable bed,
check that the blanket or cord cannot become caught or creased in the mechanism of the bed.

Make sure that the heating area does not hang over the edge of the mattress on any side of the
bed.

Do not use this blanket with invalids, bed bound persons, infants or persons sensitive to heat.

Do not use with wired area tucked in.

Do not tuck the blanket in under the mattress.

Do not insert pins into the blanket.

Only for human use, not for pets

Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the blanket.

Extended use on high setting can result in skin irritation or burns.

Do not use the blanket if it is moist or wet.

Do not use the blanket if it is creased or folded.

Keep control unit away from open windows to avoid accidental contact with rain water.

Be sure that this blanket is used only on an alternating current supply of the correct voltage.

The flexible power supply and switch must, be kept outside the bed.

Do not switch the power on if the blanket is wet or in a folded state.

Switch off at the power outlet and remove plug when this blanket is not in actual use.

This blanket must be kept in the fully spread condition at all times during use to avoid overheating. It
is imperative that the blanket does not fold back on itself.
