MIC/LINE selector: MIC/LINE "SELECTOR" allows you to select between a microphone (XLR) input and a line (1/4" phone)

Treble and Bass controls: Treble control adjusts the amount of high frequencies on the particular channel
Bass control adjusts the amount of low frequencies on that channel
Effect: Effect control adjusts the amount of effect on that channel
Channel volume control: Adjusts the gain on that channel
STEREO INPUTS
The COMBO210 has two stereo inputs that are used for MP3 or CD players. They are also suitable for electronic keyboards,
instrument pre-amps or processors, or electronic drum machines. The inputs labelled "STEREO IN 5/6" have a volume
control and accept ¼" phone or RCA plugs. The input labelled "STEREO IN 7/8" is a 3.5 mm stereo input as found on
personal music players. It has no volume control. Please use the volume control of your personal player.
USB/SD PLAYER-RECORDER
Play
The COMBO210 features a USB/SD player/recorder that accepts MP3 and WMA files.
To use this player, insert a USB stick or an SD card (max. capacity 8Gb) into the port.
The play starts automatically.
To pause play, press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
To select another track, use the left or right arrows (or)
Press the VOL- or VOL+ button to decrease or increase the volume of the track.
Please note: the player doesn't have any other volume control on the mixer. Therefore use exclusively these buttons to set
the volume of the player.
To toggle between SD and USB, press the MODE button.
STEREO OUTPUTS
1. LEFT/RIGHT speaker outputs - These outputs should only be connected to the COMBO210 speakers. Do not connect
them to the input of another electronic device. These outputs carry power and as such could damage the electronic device.
Only use "unshielded" speaker cables.
2. MONITOR OUTPUTS: These outputs allow you to route the stereo mixer signal to another destination like a recording
device, personal monitor, subwoofer or to another PA system. Depending on the input connectors of the destination
device, you can use either the ¼" phone jacks or the RCA jacks.
MONITOR OUTPUT VOLUME: This controls the overall volume of the MONITOR OUTPUT.
3. HEADPHONE OUTPUT: This output allows the user to listen to the main output of the COMBO210 mixer.
Connect a headphone fitted with a 3.5 mm stereo plug.
MASTER VOLUME and "PEAK LED VU-Meter"
The unit features a "Master Volume" that controls the overall output volume of the system and a 5-step LED vu-meter that
gives you a visual display of the applied power. The red or top LED on the vu-meter flashes when you are approaching the
maximum output. When it stays constantly on, you have reached the maximum output.
DIGITAL EFFECTS
The unit is fitted with digital multi-effects designed to enhance instruments or vocals. Select the desired effect with the
EFFECT knob.
CONNECTION OF A MICROPHONE:
a. Turn the "MASTER VOLUME" to "0".
b. Connect the microphone to the microphone cable and insert the male end into channel 1 of the mixer.
c. Depress the MIC/LINE switch – this increases the sensitivity of the input and is set for use with a dynamic microphone.
d. Set the "TREBLE" and the "BASS" controls to "0"
e. Set the "ECHO" to "0".
f. While talking loudly into the microphone bring up the channel volume until the red "PEAK" indicator blinks quickly. If the
indicator does not light up and you have turned the channel volume to "10", reduce the channel volume to "7" and move
on to the next step. If the "PEAK" indicator comes on at "3" for instance, then press the MIC/LINE switch returning it to the
"up" position and increase the channel volume control.
g. Slowly bring up the "MASTER VOLUME" to the desired loudness.
