Installation Instructions
Serial Enclosure (CKT)
Boîtier série (CKT)
Alojamiento Serial (CKT)
General Information
The Serial Enclosure is packaged separately from the
ControlKeeper TouchScreen Logic Board to protect
components during shipping. This installation instruction
pertains to the installation of the enclosure for this unit.
Please refer to the ControlKeeper T installation instruction
included in the box with the ControlKeeper Logic Board
for information specific to the logic board installation.
The ControlKeeper T enclosure is available in three
different sizes: 16 size, 32 size and 48 size. It can be
configured with different relay types as needed to achieve
your lighting needs.
Getting Started
1.
Do not discard these installation instructions. Please
keep for future reference and operation information.
2.
The relays and center rail are protected by shrink-
wrap. Leave shrink-wrap in place until all drilling and
metal work is complete to protect against metal
shards getting into component circuitry.
3.
Always disconnect all power before wiring.
4.
Use only as intended and at the listed voltage.
5.
All installation service must be performed by qualified
personnel or service technicians.
6.
Install in accordance with National Electrical Code
and any other codes that may apply.
7 .
High voltage is present inside the lighting enclosure.
Use extreme caution when performing maintenance
on this equipment. Failure to follow this warning and
proper safety procedures could result in severe injury
or death and/or damage to the equipment.

Model # CKT32
Model # CKT48
8.
Document all wiring that is terminated to the relays
so that the lighting control equipment can be properly
configured and programmed for operation.
Mounting the Enclosure
1.
If the enclosure is a 32 or 48 size, remove the upper
backplate from the enclosure by using the 1/4 turn
screws provided. The proper operation of these
screws is to push in gently and turn 1/4 turn left until
the screw head is horizontal to release the catch
mechanism. Turning these screws more than 1/4 turn
may cause them to break.
2.
Choose a dry location convenient to the circuit
breaker panel.
3.
Mount the panel on a firm surface using pre-drilled
holes.
4.
Connect the enclosure to the circuit breaker panel
using conduit. The conduit punch hole can not exceed
3 inches from the back of the enclosure. If this
measurement is exceeded, the logic board will not fit
properly inside the enclosure.
5.
Remove all cuttings and dirt before removing shrink-
wrap from the relays and center rails.
N
Note:
Make certain that high voltage and low voltage
wiring enters the enclosure separately. High
voltage wiring should not be brought into the
enclosure through the bottom or bottom left corner
of the enclosure.
Low voltage wiring can be brought into the enclosure
from the bottom or bottom left of the enclosure. If low
voltage wire must be brought into the cabinet from the
top section, there is a knockout reserved on the left side
which will allow conduit to be run from the top of the
enclosure into the low voltage wiring area. Failure to
separate high voltage from low voltage wiring may cause
interference with logic board function.
