3.1 WORKING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE OPERATOR
- Always wear personal protection equipment according to current Health & Safety laws.
- Do not repair or service the machine while it is running or connected to the power socket and while any
parts are still very hot;
- The machine is to be used by responsible adults and out of the reach of children.
- The machine must be used and kept in a dry place, sheltered against atmospheric agents.
- You are recommended not to put anything on the work table that could compromise the stability of the
machine.
- If more than one person is in the room where the machine is in use, they are recommended to keep at a
safe distance from the machine to avoid accidentally touching very hot parts.
• You are recommended to be very careful near hot parts of the machine, both while
it is working and also after it has been switched off. You should usually wait 30
minutes to let the machine cool down completely after switching off before touching
it.
• Do not use the machine for purposes other than those for which it has been
designed.
• Always use Health & Safety approved P.P.E.
• Do not approach the machine with flammable material.
• Never abandon the boiler while the iron is powered and resting on the covering
cloth.
• The machine is to be used exclusively by authorised adults.
• Do not clean or lubricate the machine while it is running.
• Do not use water to put out a fire on electrically powered equipment.
• Do not put any kind of material on top of the machine that could compromise its
stability.
• Do not start the machine while more than one person is near it, as they could
accidentally touch it and compromise the safety conditions of the ironing machine.
• Never start the equipment if the cable is not intact or if the structure is
damaged.
• This symbol it means the product is covered by the European Directive 2002/96/EC.
• Please inform yourself about the local separate collection system for electrical
products.
• Please act according to your local rules and do not dispose of your old products with
your normal household waste. The correct disposal of your old product will help
prevent potential negative consequences for the environement and human healt.
