c) Rechargeable Battery
• Connect the supplied charging cable to the DC-5V (10) charging port at the side of the
handle, and the other end to a USB power outlet.
Use a USB power adapter (min. 1 A) to charge the battery. Do not charge on a
computer USB interface.
• The CHARGING light (9) glows red while charging, and turns green when the battery is fully
charged. (Approx. 3 hours for full charge)
Maximize battery levels by using a lower fan speed (see technical data).
d) Tethered to Charging Device
You can operate your fan without a battery inserted.
• Connect the supplied charging cable to the DC-5V (10) Mini-USB port at the side of the
handle, and the other end to a USB power outlet.
User Options
Using removable metal stand / clip (7) along with the hinge (8) and non-slip rubber feet (5), you
can position your fan in a variety of positions to direct airflow where you need it most.
Do not use excessive force when attaching or removing the metal stand / clip (7), as
this may bend the wire.
a) Handheld
• Remove the metal stand / clip (7) via the attachment point (11).
• Unfold the fan along the hinge (8) until it "clicks" into place.
Maximize battery levels by using a lower fan speed (see technical data). Keep the
stand in a safe place for later use.
b) Folded on Table
• Remove the metal stand / clip (7) via the attachment point (3).
• Fold your fan along the hinge (8).
• Place it on your table so that it is resting on the non-slip rubber feet (5).
Note that the rubber feet (5) can leave marks on sensitive surfaces. Keep the stand
(7) in a safe place for later use.
c) Angled on Table
• Attach the metal stand via the attachment point (11) as shown (7).
• Fold your fan along the hinge (8).
• Place your fan onto the stand and adjust the angle.
d) Hung on Umbrella
Using the built-in umbrella hanger (1), you can hang your fan onto the underside of your
umbrella.
Check to make sure the fan is securely fastened to prevent damage from falling, and
make sure the fan stays dry if using on a rainy day. The umbrella hanger (1) may
not fit all types of umbrellas. Do not use excessive force when hanging as this may
cause damage.
e) Clipped On
The versatile metal clip (7) allows you to attach your fan a variety of ways for example. The
edge of your desk, the visor of a baby stroller, on a book etc.
Do not over bend the metal clip (7) as this may permanently alter the shape. Make
sure the clip is securely positioned in the attachment point (11). Do not position the
fan directly overhead, as dropping from a height may cause injury.
Care and Cleaning
• Disconnect the charging cable from the mains before each cleaning.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from
the product.
b) Rechargeable Battery
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used
rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated rechargeable batteries are labeled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used rechargeable batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores
or wherever rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
