Stirred Water Immersion Thermostat for Sous Vide Cooking
Operating conditions
1. Read the whole of these instructions. Safety may be impaired if they are not followed
2. Only connect to the voltage and frequency shown on the serial number plate
3. Fit SV100 on a suitable container and clamp firmly. Place the installation on a level non-
combustible surface. It is preferable for the unit to be installed as vertical as possible.
4. Fill the container with water to a level at which the float switch will be active, typically between 10
to 60mm from the base of the SV100, before switching on
5. Cover the container as much as possible when it is used with water temperatures over 60
6. The SV100 may only be used with water as the medium
7. Ensure the SV100 is positioned so the plug is easily accessible for disconnection
8. Do not use the SV100 to heat any material that could cause a fire or any other hazard
9. Allow the unit to cool down, disconnect from power supply and detach the SV100 from the con-
tainer before moving, draining or cleaning.
Setting the temperature
1. Press S; The display will flash once a second with the current set temperature
2. Rotate Navigator knob to set the desired temperature
3. Press S; this will store the requested value. The display will revert to showing the actual water tem-
perature
(If no key is pressed for several seconds, the display will revert back to showing the
actual temperature and the set point will remain at its original value.)
Setup preset temperature
1. 3 preset temperatures can be stored at the same time
2. Press F; Rotate the Navigator knob until required pre set adjust number [t1, t2 or t3] is indicated on
the display. (The display will alternate between the 't#' and the preset temperature).
3. Press S; Rotate the Navigator knob until desired temperature value is indicated on the display.
4. Press S; Controller accepts this as current set temperature value and also stores it as a preset
value.
Select preset temperature
1. Press F; Rotate the set temperature control until required pre set number [t1, t2 or t3] is indicated on
the display.
2. Press S TWICE; Controller accepts this as current set temperature.
Calibration
This feature allows the user to correct the control temperature. It is recommended that the temperature
is measured using a calibrated thermometer with an accuracy of 0.1°C

Safety cut out and Alarm light
The unit is equipped with a float switch which monitors the water level during operation. Should the water
level drop below a certain level, the safety cut out will be activated, and alarm light will be turned on. Top
up the bath with water until at least the minimum water level is reached to resume operation
