When RLM doesn't operate.
1
Check the PLC Modem is assembled.
Check the Home Code setting is correct.
If the washer's status is displayed, the dryer's
status is not be displayed, and vice versa. To
2
resolve this issue, clear and reset the Home
Code. (See pages 13 and 14 for instructions.)
- You Should clear Home Code and then Setting Home Code
again. (See 14 Page "Home Code Clear" and 13 Page
"Setting Home Code" )
The PLC modem may affect some
lamps, causing them to flicker. In that
3
case we recommend using a Direct
Plug-in EMI Filter.
The Direct Plug-in EMI Filter can be purchased and easily
installed by the customer.
Two-Phase Wiring(In Your Home)
4
In some circumstances, a non-responding RLM is the result of two-
phase wiring in your home. Two-Phase wiring can cause a
communication error between the RLM and Washer and/or Dryer.
Most homes have 2-phase 220V electrical service that is split into
two separate 110V circuits. If the appliance is plugged into one
110V circuit and the monitor is plugged into the other, the PLC
signal from the appliance may not be received by the monitor. This
problem can be solved by purchasing and installing a phase
coupler to transmit the signal to the other 110V line. (Phase
couplers that can be plugged into any available 220V outlet can be
purchased and easily installed by the customer.)
In the case of a non-responsive RLM, you should plug the RLM
power cord into another outlet.
Avoid outlets near electronic products such as televisions, radios
and small appliances.
