this watch is solar-powered and contains a solar cell under the face which converts any form of light into electrical
energy and stores this energy in a rechargeable battery.
FunCtional liFe
The usual operating life of a fully charged battery when operated without light until the watch stops is about 6 months.
BatterY Warning FunCtion
Your watch warns you when it needs recharging. If the battery is low, your watch shows you this by moving the second hand in "2- second steps". The watch continues to run at "2 -second
intervals" for another three days. If the second hand of your watch moves in 2 -second intervals, recharge your watch by exposing it to a light source.
QuiCK start FunCtion
Your watch has a quick start function. It starts operating after only a few seconds when charged by a light source of 1,000 lux or more (This corresponds to a 30W bulb at a distance of 70cm to
the watch).
oVerCharging ProteCtion
Your watch has an overcharging protection function that prevents the battery from charging further once it is at the maximum voltage. This prevents damage through wear and overcharging.
enVironMentallY FriendlY
The battery included is a titanium lithium ion battery and contains absolutely no environmentally harmful substances.
no BatterY Change reQuired
As against conventional quartz watches, this watch has no standard battery and therefore requires no battery change.
