Cleaning and care
Warning
• Unplug the product and let it cool down
completely before cleaning. Never
immerse electrical parts of the product
in water during cleaning or operation.
Never hold the product under running
water (except when filling the kettle, see
chapter Boiling water).
• When cleaning, never use solvents or

with a slightly damp cloth and then dry
them thoroughly.
Make sure that no water enters the
device interior (for example, through
the switch) or the base.
Descaling
• Descale your product regularly depending
on your water's lime content and frequency
of use.
• Use an off-the-shelf decalcifier and follow
the provided instructions.
• As an alternative, you can descale your
product with a vinegar solution:
1. Pour 30 ml of white wine vinegar into
the kettle and fill the kettle half-full with
water.
2. Boil the solution and let it soak for a
minute. Repeat this process three times.
3. Pour the solution down the drain and
rinse the kettle thoroughly with water.
4. Fill the kettle with fresh, clean water.
Bring to a boil and pour this water down
the drain. To get rid of the smell of
vinegar, repeat this step several times.
