GENERAL INFORMATION
This instruction manual contains important notifications regarding
the safe use of the CONNECT RX100s.
Please take the time to read this manual carefully and thoroughly
before installing and operating the system.
We recommend you keep a copy for future use and you transfer it
to the buyer if you resell the system.
EXALUX reserves the right to modify and upgrade its range of
products, with no obligation to integrate these changes into
products already sold. Therefore, all the information found in this
manual is subject to change without notice.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The CONNECT RX100s is a wireless DMX receiver, that uses
LumenRadio CRMX technology (2.4GHz). This system allows
the users to control DMX enabled fixtures wirelessly, several tens
meters away.
CONNECT RX100s can receive an entire DMX universe (512
channels) without any latency.
A complete system is composed of a CONNECT TX100 transmitter,
linked with one or several CONNECT RX100 or RX100s receivers,
and can be controlled from a standard DMX controller.
Several CONNECT TX100 + CONNECT RX100s can be used
simultaneously, in order to transmit several DMX universes.
POWER SUPPLY
The CONNECT RX100s is powered from the micro USB connector
(1), located at the bottom of the case.
Use a standard USB cable to connect the RX100s to a Powerbank
or USB charger.
When powered, the indicator (2) turns on.
DMX OUTPUT
All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com
The DMX signal received form the radio-transmitter is outputed on
the XLR5 (5), with the standard pinout :
Pin1: GND | Pin2: DMX- | Pin3: DMX+
Connect all the DMX fixtures to control on this DMX output.
The indicator DMX (3) turns on when a DMX signal is received and
outputed on the XLR5.
LINKING WITH TRANSMITTER
By default, CONNECT RX100s do no listen to the data sent by the
transmitter CONNECT TX100: it is necessary to link the receivers to
the transmitter.
In order to link a CONNECT RX100s to a CONNECT TX100, follow
this procedure:
- Make sure both devices are powered.
- Start the linking procedure by pressing the dedicated button
on the CONNECT TX100.
- During the linking period (10s), any unlinked CONNECT RX100s
in range will automatically link to the CONNECT TX100.
If a CONNECT RX100s is linked to a transmitter, the Link (3)
indicators turns on (even if the transmitter is off).
Several receivers CONNECT RX100s can be linked during a single
procedure.
During the linking procedure, the DMX signal is not transmitted.
UNLINKING RECEIVERS
At any moment, it is possible to reset the configuration of the
CONNECT RX100s, by unlinking the transmitter.
To do so, press the button (6) during 3 seconds, until the Link (3)
indicator turns off.
The CONNECT RX100s can then be linked to any transmitter.
RADIO
A four-level gauge (4) provides a feedback on the radio signal
strength.
In order to optimize the radio communication, it is recommanded
to install the transmitters and receivers in open spaces, without
large metalic objects.
It is also recommanded to place the antennas as described in the
following image.
LUMENRADIO COMPATIBILITY
EXALUX recommands the use of the transmitters CONNECT
TX100. Nevertheless, the CONNECT RX100s can be used with any
transmitter compatible with CRMX Technology from LumenRadio.

Power supply
Check the operation of the power supply before connecting to
the system.
Before connecting the appliance, check if the voltage indicated
on the device matches the voltage on the local supply network
and if the socket is fitted with a differential circuit breaker. In case
of non-compliance, the device could be damaged and the user
might be injured.
When a storm is announced or the unit must not be used for an
long time, unplug it to reduce the risk of electric shock or fire.
