• DO NOT use this playard if you cannot exactly follow the instructions that come with it.
• NEVER USE THIS PRODUCT if there are any loose or missing fasteners, loose joints, broken parts or torn
mesh/fabric. Check before assembly and periodically during use. Contact HALO at 1-888-999-HALO for
replacement parts. Never substitute parts.
• Discontinue use of the playard when child is able to climb out, reaches the height of 35 in. (890 mm),
or weighs more than 30lbs (14 kg).
• This product is not intended to be resold after use or returned to a retailer. Due to safety concerns, HALO
Innovations, Inc. cannot be held responsible for any product that has been resold after use or returned to a retailer.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD–INFANTS HAVE SUFFOCATED:
• In gaps between extra padding and side of the bassinet/cradle/crib.
• On soft bedding.
• Use only the pad provided by manufacturer. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding.
• Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as a mattress cover not sold or intended for that purpose.
They can cause suffocation.
• Discard all plastic packing materials immediately after opening.
• Product is designed and is approved for use with one baby only. Do not use with more than one child at a time.
• Never use a playard sheet unless it is designed specifically for your playard and fits securely on all four corners
of the mattress pad.
STRANGULATION HAZARD
• Strings can cause strangulation! DO NOT place items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood
strings or pacifier cords. DO NOT suspend strings over a bassinet/crib/cradle or attach strings to toys.
• NEVER PLACE PRODUCT near a window where cords from blinds or drapes can strangle a child.
INJURY HAZARD
• THE PRODUCT, including side rails and mattress pad, must be fully erected prior to use according to
these instructions. MAKE SURE all latches are secure.
• WHEN CHILD IS ABLE to pull to standing position, remove bumper pads, large toys and other objects
that could serve as steps for climbing out.
• DISCONTINUE USE OF ROCKERS when child is able to roll over, push up on hands and knees, or has
reached 15 lbs. (6.8kg), whichever comes first. ONLY USE ROCKERS with bassinet attachment.
• NEVER leave child unsupervised when using rocker attachments.
• USE ONLY THE MATTRESS/PAD provided by manufacturer.
• CHILD CAN BECOME entrapped and die when improvised netting or covers are placed on top of product.
Never add such items to confine child in product.
• ALWAYS PROVIDE THE SUPERVISION necessary for the continued safety of your child. NEVER leave
child unattended.
• TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their back to
sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
• NEVER place additional objects in the playard.
• NEVER LEAVE CHILD in product with side lowered. Be sure that all 4 sides are raised and in the locked
position whenever child is in product.
• NEVER USE a water mattress with this product.
• PLAYARD IS NOT INTENDED TO BE REFINISHED.
• ALWAYS keep the playard away from hazards in the area that may harm or injure your child.
• THIS PRODUCT IS NOT intended for commercial use.
• DO NOT use playard in a motor vehicle. Serious injury or death could occur.
• DO NOT modify or add any accessory to the playard other than HALO accessories specifically

designed for use with this product.
