2. Normal operation
The following items do not indicate a problem with the appliance; they are part of
normal operation:
•
If there is a sound like water flowing, this is the compressor operating.
•
If you hear a pinging sound, it is caused by the sudden change of temperature
making metallic material in the unit expand or contract.
•
The compressor is hot. (When the compressor is working, it can reach a
temperature of 194 ° F, or 90 ° C.)
•
The exterior sides of the refrigerator are hot. (The two sides can reach a
temperature of 131 ° F, or 55 ° C.)
•
The exterior of the refrigerator shows condensation. This is caused by a high level
of humidity. Dry the surfaces with a clean, soft cloth.
In the event of the unit being damaged beyond repair, please dispose of it according to local
regulations for the disposal of appliances.
Please take off the doors before you discard the appliance, to prevent children from being
trapped inside.
Under no circumstances may the unit be dumped.
