9.5.2 Bora Cover
Before installing a Bora Cover, first observe the instructions in section 9.5.1 (Bora Wall). During installation,
observe the provided distance from the floor to the bottom side of the appliance (see appendix 2, fig 9 B).
Then, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 11):
Ø
Position the ceiling cap (fig. 11-3) and mark out the drill holes on the ceiling.
Ø
Drill the holes in the ceiling.
Ø
Push the plugs (fig. 11-9) into the holes.
Ø
Slide the ceiling cap in the cover (fig. 11-2).
Ø
Place all this on the appliance.
Ø
Slide the ceiling cap upwards against the ceiling and mount it all to the ceiling using the 5 screws (fig. 11-10).
9.5.3 Bora Console
Before installing a Bora Console, subsequently observe the instructions in section 9.5.1 (Bora Wall) and
9.5.2 (Bora Cover).
Then, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 12):

Place the floor section (fig. 12-11) under the appliance.
9.5.4 Bora Fixed
9.5.4.1 Placing the appliance
This appliance should be suspended from the ceiling.
The Bora Fixed should only be mounted to a horizontal, non-combustible and solid ceiling.

Timber beam construction:
In case of a timber beam construction: order the specially developed set and observe the instructions in the

manual supplied with the set. In this case, the following instructions no longer apply.
Ceiling made of concrete:
When placing the fire in case of a concrete ceiling, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 13, 14 and 15):
Ø
A sliding pipe (0.5 metre long) is supplied with the appliance. Ensure that the pipe starts at the bottom of the
double-walled duct and protrudes approximately 150 mm from the ceiling (fig. 15-5).
Ø
Determine the position of the flue exhaust based on appendix 2, fig. 14.
The Bora Fixed is a rotatable appliance. Whether and to what extent the appliance should be rotatable, is decisive

for the position of the flue exhaust. For details, we would like to refer you to appendix 2, fig. 14.
Ø
Slide the ceiling plate (fig. 13-2) over the sliding pipe against the ceiling and mark out the 8 (recessed) fastening
holes.
Ø
Drill the 8 holes and push the supplied key bushes (fig. 13-1) in the ceiling.
Ø
Attach the ceiling plate (fig. 13-2) to the ceiling with the 8 Allen screws (fig. 13-3).
Ø
Grab the supplied rigid pipe (fig. 13-4) and slide the lock ring (fig. 13-5) from the bottom side carefully around the
rigid pipe.
Use the supplied aerosol with heat-resistant paint to repair possible damages.

Ø
Press the lock ring and rigid pipe against the ceiling plate and fasten them with the 8 Allen screws (fig. 15-7).
Ø
Place the appliance, using a lift table or scissor jack, under the rigid tube (fig. 15-4) and fasten the appliance with 3
bolts and accompanying rings (fig. 15-2 and 3) to the rigid pipe.
Ø
If applicable, place the restrictor tray (see section 9.1.2) and the flame baffle plate (see appendix 2, fig. 4 and 6).
If you do not want the appliance to be able to rotate:

Rotate the appliance in the required position.
Ø
Screw the 3 small hexagon socket screws (fig. 13-6) against the flange attached to the pipe (fig. 13-4). Now, it is no
longer possible to rotate the appliance.
