The transformer must be placed in a location that:

If the transformer is not working properly, this may be due to a number of reasons. The following points
may help you fix any problems:
1. Bad connection. Clean all contact surfaces thoroughly.
2. Break in connection. Check fuses, if any. Check the cable routing.
3. A fuse has tripped. Check the transformer fuses. They are on the circuit board. Replace blown
fuses with fuses that have the same rating.
4. Overloading causes reduced power output.
5. Overheating causes reduced power output. In the event of heavy loads over long periods, the
transformer reduces output power to prevent temperature-related damage. If this happens:
- Switch off the transformer.
- Reduce the load, i.e. disconnect one or more of the connected devices, or wait until the
transformer has cooled.
- Switch on the transformer.
